The porting of the supercharger probably resulted in a good bit of the extra wine that you were hearing, more so than removing the plates.
What did you think about low end torque? My used 22 had a ported blower and throttle body when I bought it and I feel like my stock 24 has more torque down low.

I just know they said it can get well over 100° here, but it certainly is dry. The humidity here during the day gets down to around 10 to 12%, my hands are already cracking and you definitely have to keep hydrated constantly.
