CT4-V Disappointed after lengthy Test drive

I had the M440i Xdrive and traded it for the CT4 Blackwing. The BMW had great tech, essentially hands free traffic handling, xdrive, and was willing to run. I hated the start stop, so got used to turning that off. That said, it was just kinda ehhh. The Blackwing in VMode seems pretty ready...

When someone is on your tail like that, give a point by! Sheesh. Nice run, would love to have seen you with open track (I stopped about 2/3rd of the way through)

    Paint Protection Film

$7000 for my M440 for the full car plus ceramic coat, no paint correction, can't remember the brand, but it was "top of the line" that they carried. Silicon Valley shop that did a lot of porkers

I'm always self conscious about my Pilotis when i'm around car people. I like them because they actually fit my feet well. Oddly enough they are the most comfortable shoes I've found for my weird feet.

I learned about it on Cadillac's web page, then the dealer mentioned it, but didn't give any real help, so I called SM and started talking to them and got someone to help with the scheduling for me to attend. I always watch for things like this when going for a "high end" product like this

I drove 8 hours each way from central california. I've done car control before, HPDEs, experienced in car coaching from people that know what they're doing. Was still fun, but I tend to read manuals, test the car myself, so the best bit that I experienced was running in the wet and getting to...

always been a car and motorcycle guy but my son was the one that got me into auto-x and track days. I found Spring Mountain to be be a reasonable value for the time and money I put into it but wouldn't call it a must do. I've had some really good expperiences at HPDE events with the coach in...

Best mode for moderate to heavy rain?

Forget PTM, drop down to Drive Mode for Snow/Ice. We had torrential rain during my Spring Mountain experience and it worked great to keep the car going straight
