What did you do to your Blackwing today?

Hit 1500mi today (1505 to be exact) so went to put car up only to find the Jack pads I bought don’t fit the 5BW so used race ramps to do oil change and a Jack on the seam to change the diff. Spent more time googling torque specs and double checking quantities then actually working on the car...

    650 mile road trip - '22 CT5-V Blackwing six-speed

I found that in 6th gear cruising at 70-80mph I averaged 23-25mpg on the highway through some pretty mountainous terrain. Definitely better than expected from a luxury sports sedan

    CT5-V Tracking 5BW Advice

Agreed - $800 for a single day of HPDE on a $12k deductible policy is pretty asinine and basically just catastrophic coverage

Great info - thanks Rob! Any update on what the 20yr anniversary will be for the 5V BW?

    650 mile road trip - '22 CT5-V Blackwing six-speed

Hell yeah - I found out that North Carolina is pretty broken up with construction and detours, but VA Blue Ridge is easy sailing. You can go from Cherokee to Asheville on the Blue Ridge without issue but after that it's hit or miss.

    CT4-V What Tires

I believe the TPC is just part of the noise cancellation setup that Cadillac has for the Blackwings. Tire compound, durability, traction, etc should be the same as the non-TPC

What did you do to your Blackwing today?

Double escape doors? Haha now I've seen it all - that's an awesome trailer and I love the side ramp for the tool box. Great setup!

I’ve found the secret sauce (track pads)

I would think so as the intention is for you to learn the limits of your car and what's the point of doing that if the pads aren't OEM but something better?

    Post your dirty photos

Totally forgot about this thread, or I would have taken a picture yesterday of my matte black that was almost 50% grey from all the road residue, water streaks, etc from the 800-mile road trip that had me caught in a pretty torrential downpour a few different times. Also had the misfortune of...

Wait is over, but had some issues

If it's still idling low/rough, even without throwing a code, I would take it in for the dealership to diagnose.

    Blacked out badges pics

I bought mine from Savage Cadillac - you can also buy a set from Cadillac and black them out yourself as many have done for less.
