CT5-V PTM modes for daily driving?

I just go drive mode track and leave PTM inactive, haha

5 Blackwing loses to everything on the street, DSM, supra, vette, you name it!

Will be interesting to see what Steven Gore gets from his AMP built 5VBW. I’m still on the fence of just saying stock, doing a max blower build, or going twins. So many decisions and mixed emotions haha

CT5-V Feedback For 2024 CT5-V Blackwing HPDE Build

That wasn’t what the Brembo rep said in the V-Club chat, but know some have expressed that concern.

What did you do to your Blackwing today?

Yeah it’s clear on pg 224 of the owners manual but techs don’t read the OM, they read the service manual. Can’t believe it’s not in there

@jodakid69 i was going to bring these with me to VIR to give you, but since I won’t be making it, if you message me your address I’ll ship it to you.

For the sake of resale value I hope this is a mistake

Maybe it’s just on available inventory?

What did you do to your Blackwing today?

@PL69 would you believe me if I told you that the “service manual” doesn’t say anything about disconnecting the battery? WTF GM?

CT5-V Feedback For 2024 CT5-V Blackwing HPDE Build

I highly recommend the J56 Carbon Ceramic Brakes. They’re one and done for the life of the car (essentially) and have ZERO brake dust.

For the sake of resale value I hope this is a mistake

A dealer is claiming it’s only till the end of the month (7/31) - no clue if true or not. Does include the CT4-V Blackwing though

What did you do to your Blackwing today?

Should have supervised but thought it was in good hands… will be sending them the bill from GM

What did you do to your Blackwing today?

Update - they say that they sucked out the res and opened a bleeder screw (didn’t disconnect the battery) and when they couldn’t figure out how to use their snap on computer to turn off the ABS, they came out to me. Now the brakes don’t work, they car won’t go over 40, and neither Chevrolet nor...

What did you do to your Blackwing today?

Took it in to have an alignment done and found the front toe to be way out from factory, but now it’s good to go. Left there and went to a performance shop to have the brake system flushed for Castrol SRF only for them to come back 2 hours later and say they’re not capable of doing it, and now...

For Sale True Unicorn on BAT (not mine!)

Still 1 of 500 ever made so I'll count that, modded or not. Might still be 2-300 low mile manuals out there, if we're lucky

CT4V -BW Track "Capable" versus Track "Optimized"

Perhaps @Terrance Sig can weigh in here, but I think an issue you may have deviating from stock size tires will be your ABS system and all of technology integrated into your traciton/handling systems. To optimize the system, I would think having a second set of wheels/tires purely for the...
