I was just reading up on a civic type r break in. 600 miles and let it soar. Funny how they try to pin it on you for the 1500 miles period. Heard 1500 miles is more for diff than engine.
So I was chatting with my wife about how it suck’s driving my ridgeline truck in winter because it has no soul. Most of the time Im fine but there are days with winter being so long in MN and BW just parked for 5 months it gets tough. She said well when our son turns 16 in 2 yrs get a decent...
i been pondering getting a extended warranty to 84 months but the power train is already at 72 months so is it worth then $2k. Of course the warranty covers other stuff but this car doesn’t really have too many random stuff like my wife’s X5. On the flip side, they beat the hell out of the CT5...
I got my oil changed at key and there apparently is one master mechanic that is very good. While he was doing my oil, he came in while I was buying diff fluid to swap out. He looked at me and said good, at least someone is doing proper maintenance on the BW. Ha!

I did mine at 1200 miles and it was pretty dang dirty. Surprised it isn’t part of regular maintenance even if u don’t track similar to M cars break in. Mine almost had a metallic hue. Compared to my Honda truck (yes it’s not the same) but that even after 25000 seemed still clear.
