IF nothing else works, use a lot of duct tape and drive on.

3,000 miles, rotors warped, GM won't replace

I guess you would say I'm babying the 4BW. ZERO issues of any kind. Oh, yeah, run in often to 100 get radar gunned and maybe a night in jail.

3,000 miles, rotors warped, GM won't replace

11,100 miles on my 4BW. Flawless, even gets surprisingly fine mileage. Oh, I guess I could complain about the carbon fiber seat back squeaking. Dealer will fix it in 2 weeks.

Does anyone know of engine issues with the CTV-4 Blackwing? 11K miles, several oil changes and everything is great.

CT4-V Disappointed after lengthy Test drive

I drove sticks and enjoyed them for many years. But rowing through the gears in heavy traffic isn't fun. Not an issue with an auto.

    Maintenance Intervals

I really appreciate what ngoni stated. I have always changed the cars oil more frequently than what the manuals have said. Cheap protection and I've never had any engine issue in 50+ yrs. Having spent around $90K on my Blackwing IMSA Edition all the more reason to baby the car. Aditionally...

    Maintenance Intervals

Personally, I think 5-7K miles between oil & filter changes is way too long unless you're frequently driving long distances Your call. Don

CT4-V Disappointed after lengthy Test drive

I had only manuals for decades. Being stuck in stop and go traffic with a manual is a major PITA. Modern autos often out perform manuals in every respect. Don

CT4-V Disappointed after lengthy Test drive

I don't understand the OPs remarks either. My 2023 CTV-4 Blackwing automatic has enough low end that I haven't stepped on it at low speed. With half throttle it starts spinning the wheels. Love the car, even gets 32mpg on a 20 mile run. Some downhill but not significant. Don

T-Boned a Red Light Runner in my 5BW 😠 Adios collectible value

Gad you're OK, sorry about the car. Hope things go as well as possible. Sorry law enforcement didn't do something about the non English speaker, possible illegal. Don

    AFM or DFM ?

Thankful for that. I also have a 2022 Kia GT1 twin turbo which has idle stop and go. I really despise it and doubt those who use it get significantly better mileage. Stop for a red light, light turns green, what a PITA. Don

    Maintenance Intervals

I like to baby my cars and I think the information in the owner's manual means you're letting the car go too long between oil and air filter changes. I'd like some inputs. Don
