Others have said James Black Cadillac in PA has good prices on the extended warranty. They will give you good advice on when and what to buy for your situation. They have a good following in the Vette and SS communities.

This is more common with more obvious cars like Hellcats, but thieves come prepared with locksmith software on a laptop and a blank fob. In about 60 seconds after connecting to your ODB port all of your fobs are forgotten and only their fob is associated with the car and they drive off. As soon...
Wait where is the rest of the plug and what did it do while it was bouncing around your cylinder?? How could there be no damage?
I'd definitely get it to a different dealer for a proper diagnosis.
You have to wonder how much money Michelin paid GM to add the 'line lock' feature to their cars. That one option probably sold as many tires as the totally not excessive amount of torque in first gear :_rock
I think one person here just put the aftermarket TB in and it fixed the noise. Not sure if it's the SAME noise but they didn't want to deal with the back and forth with the dealer on such a simple fix.
You could pull the existing pads and look for signs of uneven wear that would indicate the rotor is no longer flat. That would be a dead giveaway. But at 30k miles it isn't unheard of to have high performance rotors like these Brembos to need replacing.
I saw some other used aftermarket carbon parts on sale on Facebook and the seller had to disclose they were already fading at around a year of use and needed a new clear coat.

It seems @KatyTxCT5V got one of their systems, maybe the ODB blocker. I think you need an installer to do the work on most of the ILGA products, but when you're protecting >$100k rolling down the road it...
You're asking the right questions. If you really want a true second layer of protection that won't leave you stuck in the middle of nowhere, you may consider a company that makes anti-theft systems: Igla Kvant - IGLA US
