Mine was delivered at the end of MY25. It had to do the whole truck->train->truck kabuki dance so it took about five weeks to go 10 hours down the road from the factory. I'm not bitter about having to pay the destination fee for that logistical disaster at all, no not at all...
Go with OEM glass installed by whomever you trust. Otherwise they will replace it with the cheapest stuff they can find. Your wipers will chatter and it will be much more susceptible to breaking in the future. I went through three 'Safelite specials' in rapid succession until I got smart and...
I broke my old truck during the last move, so I got a new one. Paid in cash and it was 30% off MSRP. Salesguy said he sold 30 the day prior and didn't know if he would have any stock next week so yeah I jumped on that deal. I run it bone stock no add-ons. Off-road performance is a little dicey...
Wait isn't this about "Morizo?"
Other questions I have:
1) Are you selling this product?
2) Does that NFL guy give you a cut of the sales like a Madoff-style mid-level pyramid marketing scheme?
3) Do you always consume large quantities of mind-altering recreational drugs before posting here or...
I saw someone on here or Facebook show how fitment isn't 100% and the CF has flaws you can easily see one of which was so bad he didn't want to install it. You definitely want to check it out immediately when it arrives and send it back if it isn't good enough for you but be prepared to be let...
You will be able to get 200% more features and capability from a dashcam that costs half as much. I got a three channel: 4k/HD/HD cam + hardwire kit for less than GM wants for that single-channel 2k relic. Running the power cable to the fuse box is simple. Getting the cover off the fusebox is a...
Your next milestone is the Target Production Week (TPW). The factory is usually pretty good at getting them off the line on that date. After that you have a 3-8 week wait for transportation. Consider yourself lucky. I waited nine months just to get the allocation you got in one.
The front CF splitter is incredibly fragile. Tapout sells a replacement that is matched but is a complete piece of fiberglass instead of the flimsy plastic that comes from the factory.
Allocations are based on the volume of that car the dealer does. If you've picked a high volume dealer the wait could be short. Others, like me, waited close to five months just for the allocation. It's called the goat rodeo for a reason sadly.
GM does almost everything possible to dissuade you...
In my humble opinion, Apex makes the best wheels for Blackwings and they have hands down the best support. They can get you into a direct replacement set that fits the stock tires or they have the experience to get you into whatever type of fitment/look you're going for.
Make sure they do a patch not just a plug. Even better if they do both.
Pretty sure the 4BW doesn't have run flats and it should have come with its own pump in the trunk where you'd expect a spare to be.
This may be a situation where the 'older' tech in the 4BW (and possibly pre-facelift 5BW?) is better. My 4BW came with an SD card filled with US map data installed in the center console. The onboard nav continued to work even as I drove through the most remote parts of West Virginia to include...
