Just rolling in and doing a diagnosis is a chunk of change at this point so extended warranty supported by the manufacturer that won't give you a ton of BS when you need to use it is probably well worth the price of admission.

AFAIK, there's only the instrument panel brightness which controls EVERYTHING minus the HUD and the HUD brightness controls. That's it.
You might check if the headlights are in the 'always on' mode because when the lights are on, the instrument panel may not be at full brightness. From page 118...
No one can give you an estimate on when your order will be built. Sometimes your dealer gets an allocation immediately and your order is built just weeks after you put in your order. Others wait 9-12+ months just to get a production date. You will get conflicting information all along the way...
There's a ton of "standard" features GM doesn't include in the 4BW like folding mirrors, rear view mirror camera, super cruise, surround vision, etc. Things fall away to meet the price point and also to create a real difference between the 4 and the 5 I guess.
I wasn't there and it wasn't my situation, but do remember that you have a ton of warranty and regular service work that you can take to the selling dealer's service department or literally any other nearby dealer. That's a fairly big bargaining chip but you may have to escalate to the dealer's...
