Under the California lemon law, if there is a failure twice for what’s deemed a safety issue, this is cause for a buyback or compensation. For regular warranty problems it’s three times for the same problem in the first 18,000 miles, four times total, I believe under 36,000 miles and/or 30 days...

Unfortunately, I had one of these. I was driving a Corvette back in 1975 for work, and the company wouldn’t continue to pay my insurance on it so they gave me this car to drive. What a POS! However, Ricardo Montalban was the man! Check out his pecs in “The Wrath of Khan”

About a year ago, before I sold my 4BW, I cracked my windshield on a trip from Vegas to SoCal. Took about a week to get an OEM windshield from the warehouse in Arizona.
