The typical path for more turbo noise is intake + catless DPs + turbo inlet. There's no turbo inlet for the stock turbos available AFAIK, so intake + DPs will be the current path for now.
I called the PPF shop that handles my body's shop insurance claims. They said they've had no issues with lift as long as I wait the proper amount of time. I'd rather wait the time designated by the body shop since they'll be warrantying the paint in case it does. Mostly to cover my own ass :)
My Rift metallic is fully PPF'd (all painted areas + headlights and taillights). Currently getting some repairs done at a body shop and will need to re-do the front bumper, passenger fender, and door for $1800.. after waiting 30 days for the paint to cure properly. Sucks not being able to drive...
Hit up Klotz Bro Racing. Nick knows a great deal about CT4-V and 5-V BW fitment. A lot of us has moved onto 19" BC Forged wheels. Most are running 295-305 in the rear and 275 up front with no rubbing.
If your map is specifically targeting a certain E mix, you'll have to do it the old fashioned way. Grab an ethanol test kit. Once you get the percentage from the test kit, you can use an E85 calc (there are plenty online or even apps) and plug in your numbers and wallah. To take the guesswork...
Looking at as much underbody images/videos as possible, and I don't see any resonators from the downpipes to the muffler. I'll eventually go catless downpipe and looking at a custom muffler or possibly a muffler delete down the line. Can anyone confirm? Thanks.
1. Looks. Can't do the G80 grill. And the 4BW with CF1/2 is really sporty but also classy looking.
2. Inputs: steering, brakes, steering, and manual are all better. The ZF 6-speed in my 340i was awful. And the M3 isn't much better. The Tremec is a different class. Also hated numb BMW steering...
If your dealer is giving you a hard time, this should be covered under your auto insurance if you have glass added. I've heard of this happening on other cars as well. BMW, Benz, etc. Really unfortunate that happened to you.
Y'all must have 3rd world country roads. The cabin noise is great in-town and on the highway. The ANC does its job. I'll have to use my dBA meter on my phone to check and compare to my daily E90. That one definitely has more road noise but nothing too bad either.
The biggest thing is the switch over to the Google built-in infotainment. What's head scratching is, some of their 2022/2023 Chevy trucks already have this, but not their luxury brand??? I pay the monthly $25 subscription for unlimited hotspot / connected navigation / remote app. Right now, it's...
Did mine today as well. "GM N22-238693" - "A variety of software improvements to make your in-vehicle experience better." Sounds like an infotainment update.
For those of you who have disabled ANC with a subwoofer, how's the interior noise? Any significant difference with it disabled? Does this also disable the fake engine noise or are those 2 separate things? Thanks!
I hate all the new tech in the 4BW, but one thing I do wish it had was a bigger screen. You can get a bigger screen in any other luxury car, top performance trim or not. And on $30k Kias and Hyundais.
That said, it's adequate and it's placed close enough to me that the size isn't a big deal...
