There is no better way to wash your car than to use a properly sorted pressure washer. You need one that hits the sweet spot for cars. These aren't the same systems you use to clean your deck or sidewalk.

I can't speak to the LF4, but the LT1/4 have always had a HUGE problem with low RPM launch bog. C7/6th Gen folks went nuts trying to fix the bog (cams, tunes, etc), but the best (cheap) solution was to launch at a higher RPM.
I recall an interview with Mrza and another one of the V-Club TechTalks that the Caddy group was painstaking in their approach to Airbox and exhaust design.
I think, as the aftermarket is discovering, the stock Airbox is really, really good.
Considering the agony one of our members went through trying to get the OEM CT5 screen to work in the CT4, I'd say the chances are zero.

Sealing is a bit more $ than epoxy coating, but I think it'll be worth it. In my climate, the sealant should be fine for 10 years without re-application. I am using a penetrating sealant, not a surface sealant. Mine will wind up with a matte finish. Then SwissTrax over the area where the cars...
21 years ago when our house was built, I went with tile in the garage. It has been incredible. It doesn't care about fluids, it cleans easily and hasn't chipped or cracked even with my wife's 4-door Jeep Wrangler Diesel. Took me a minute to find someone willing to do the job, but 20+ years...
As others have said…it’s the tires.
It’s also your springs, but that’s a different conversation. You aren’t smarter than GM’s chassis engineers. They are some of the finest in the world.
As for the TPC PS4S, it’s not the same tire you would buy from Tire Rack or Costco. The outer bands are...
Lights that are set as a result of a transient condition will reset after three on/off cycles. The code is still stored, but the light will go off.
Battery disconnect is a must since these cars 'pre-initalize' when the key fob is in close proximity.
Isn't that the truth! I rarely deviate from OEM fluids/filters/parts...when I do it's usually for a specific use case and after some time reading what is out there. I tend to over-service all of my and my family members cars also. Although I believe I service them at a reasonable interval. :D...
TREMEC HP-MTF™ MANUAL TRANSMISSION FLUID
We get the question all of the time, “What kind of oil do you guys recommend?”
And now, we’re pleased to announce our definitive answer -- “TREMEC oil, of course!”
Developed in conjunction with world-class automotive and industrial lubricant...
Of course. For me the essential part of the equation is: when you buy directly from TREMEC and they are responsible for the warranty, they recommend HP-MTF.
GM validated the Dexron in the -6060 not because it's better, but because it's cheaper for GM to use one less fluid type across the models.
Well, it certainly is ATF in the BW5 with the -6060.
And if you go to Redline and others to find what their equivalent product is...it's 'straight' ATF.
D4 ATF - Quart
Our most versatile ATF, use where Dexron III®, Dexron II®, Mercon® and...
Great in-depth breakdown!
When I got my 6th Gen, I bought the service manual (pg 12160 in mine). It was emphatic about the procedure to not overfill the case. The whole 'bend mechanics wire 1/8' in length' or remove 8oz once you fill to the bottom of fill port.
When researching best care and...
100% not required, but certainly won't hurt. I used to do a -6060 fluid swap at the end of every racing season.
They made it easier on the Blackwing by moving the temp sensor to a different port.
Just be sure to use the GM OEM fluid OR the TREMEC HP-MTF. Don't go into the redline/amsoil, etc...
