I would expect so, but people tend to only publish the low miles failures and by 60k guys are tossing on serious mods so... I don't know... All I'm saying is the LT4 is great engine but at this level of performance it only takes a tiny manufacturing flaw to make it all go boom.

My experience is similar to throats. Above 3500 and right foot pinned to the floor or it doesn't work. Becareful because these cars run out real estate lightning quick when pinned, and you're in the triple digits by 3rd.

I can see that, however with regards to the LF4, to me it sounds closer to a V8 than what I ever would expect from a V6, while I6s tend to have their own very unique sound. It definitely announces its presence even though it's quiet in the cabin.
