We haven't made any progress on this in the last few months, because almost everyone is going with HP Tuners now that Global B ECMs have been cracked. However, we do have the Tapout Tuning Modules in stock. We can install and dyno tune these in house. If you're interested in a quote, please...
These cars are built to handle tons of power. We have built more than 100 of these cars with 200 whp more than stock, and probably at least 20 cars with 300 more horsepower than stock. Generally speaking, if you use good engine oil and change it by 50% oil life, everything seems to hold up fine.
At the track on drag tires, we turn off all forms of Traction and Stability control. On street tires, you'll have to experiment to find what works best in your particular conditions.
We are fortunate enough to have CT5-V Blackwing drivelines in our CT4-V Blackwings. Those cars come from the factory with 200 more horsepower, and our OEM parts are holding up without issue.
Those two part numbers are correct. The only difference is that the second one has Pankl titanium connecting rods.
Note that both of these part numbers are for M6 cars. GM doesn't offer replacement LF4 short or long blocks for the A8 or A10 cars, so you'll need to swap the oil pan for proper...
This is correct. Aftermarket exhaust systems will most likely be heavier. Plus, the factory exhaust systems sound nearly perfect. This is why we recommend downpipes for the CT4-V Blackwings, and headers for the CT5-V Blackwings.
We've tuned more than 500 LF4-powered cars in 24 countries. Several of our early tunes are past 100,000 miles now. GM builds tremendous safety margins into their production vehicles. When top quality parts and world class tuning are combined, it's no problem at all to add 50 to 100 whp to...

Yes, exactly, unless we tune for you via HP Tuners. Here's the verbiage from our website:
Please note: DTC P1400 is an EGR related DTC that seems to set on some cold starts under certain conditions if you’re running the aftermarket intake lid. You can use the JB4 Tuner or the DTC Assassin™ to...
You can do JB4 or full scale Global B tune via HP Tuners. Either way will not set codes.

This is correct. Here's a writeup we did on the CT4-V Blackwing FAQ page of our website:
Yes, the CT4-V Blackwing has a much improved intercooler system, even though overall system capacity has been reduced from 3.3 to 2.9 quarts. In summary, this system was designed for the CT5-V Blackwing...
