How the heck do I replace the battery!

Why would you remove it just for being dead? You can use the lugs under the hood to jump/booster box or connect a charger. I installed a NOCO on board battery maintainer under the hood. Can't even tell its there when not in use.

    Suspension question

Where the times at? Seems like a lot of feels in this thread and not a lot of lap time data. It’s cool if it feels better, but that doesn’t mean faster times or optimal tire wear are the outcome for 98% street life.

    In a dilemma… Help.

Because they are both the same car outside the mega screen and some front facia strips. The OP owes us beers for our sage advice! 4g hardware will age out before 5g, but they are both going to age out. That is what I like about the iPad on the dash, I can VHB tape a new one to it in 2032 and...

    In a dilemma… Help.

Agree, not much more to it than deciding on the value of the options and the aesthetic differences. Still the exact bones and driving experience either way. As a side note, your screen name is awfully close to a long time member so I was confused at first, but I see you have more ambition to...

    Precision pack and ceramic brakes

Well, I never thought they would sell any PP at $18k, so what's another $9k for someone willing to spend $18k?? Maybe the correct wording is the PP forces the addition of the CCB option, not includes. I think executives have a wager on how big a profit margin they can get on the 5BW before it...

    6,000+ mile owner review 2024 CT5-V Blackwing

I really like the OP's comment about ruining resto-mods. I've always considered the idea of building a '67 Chevelle with LT4, 6 speed, roadster shop chassis, etc, but to do that would be 1.5-2x more $ than the 5BW and not nearly as comfortable, reliable, or capable (but it would be better looking).

    I'm a liar

I never heard of any kidnapping case, but he and his buddy Joe Cole were robbed at gunpoint back in the 90's and they murdered Joe.

Multi-topic thread on retirement and second car

This thread is evidence of your flawed thinking ;)

    I'm a liar

Wasn't that familiar with the Vantage, but 70 minutes of YouTube later I love it. It's a beautiful design, the V8 sounds intoxicating, and the overall car seems like a nice analog space to eat some miles.

    Fuel pump cutoff switch

Amazon is mostly a conduit for absolute rubbish from overseas that appeals to the unfortunate human desire for cheap goods. I would NEVER install that fire box on my BW, or any car for that matter. Even if it was high quality, I agree with @conipc that it's a sledgehammer solution.

CT4-V Disappointed after lengthy Test drive

Maybe you're not familiar with the newer Global B platform? These mods are not spoofing anything, these cars have wideband o2 sensors and with these mods the fuel curves are still safe. GM gave the parameters a lot of leash before setting a MIL.

CT4-V Disappointed after lengthy Test drive

The 5BW shares it's family name, but its has a different personality and is worth investigating. There are nicer interiors and more handsome exteriors, but this manual, rear drive, supercharged V8 sedan is special from behind the wheel. However, if you're into light and flickable, I would not...

Order bank open date 2025 CT5V BW?

@1StunnaV had a big write up about the paint and what options you have. Refuse the car is about the only control you have over the situation. If you're lucky the dealer with help, but I think the consensus is if you REALLY want the car, then take delivery and have a professional detailer...

Multi-topic thread on retirement and second car

To further distract you (and me) from work, what is the driving experience like? I think the Supra is a bit over styled (too many accentuated bulges and creases), but looks good in white as it tones that down some.

    2025 5-BW Precision Package Questions...

@MatthewAMEL Well you certainly seem like your the core demographic that GM had in mind with the PP. I'm already looking forward to your real world, "regular guy" comparisons to your '23. As I read on The Drive, the package is really $9k worth of new bits and engineering when you take out CCB...

How long do you wait after starting the car to move it off?

Do you live across the street from me? My neighbor must have had some sort of secret service training to minimize the time from starting the car and wheels moving. I'm certain the process is less than 1 second, its incredible. Next rental car I get I'm going to see if I can beat his time.

Awww, this is a quaint internet pissing contest circa 1997. You guys new to the internet?

    Newbie questions..trade a M4 for 2025 CT5-V Blackwing

Maybe things have changed recently, but a good deal used to be MSRP and then many dealers would add non-negotiable "features" that push the price past MSRP. To order, you need to find a dealer with an allocation they are willing to let you use and frankly this is the biggest hurdle. The units...

Conti Extreme Contact dws06 plus vs. Michelin Pilot Sport all season 4 ?

I run the DWS 06 (older non + model) on my daily and its a great all season tire, though I disagree slightly with the notion they are quieter . On some pavement I get a small amount of tread block noise but overall a great option. Hopefully I'm not too far of an outlier here (and even if I am...
