You still way ahead of me. I can't get mine to read any SD card I've tried to date, I'm due the retrofit on backup sensor. Wonder if that has anything to do with it
That sucks but bright side is no damage to your person or car itself.
Hopefully wheel/tire insurance. My wife did same years ago on her BMW, spring thaw and huge pothole on highway. Was a line of cars on shoulder of highway that suffered same fate. Replaced wheel and tire also, had insurance...
Just pretend for a moment that the car had a 3rd pedal. How and when you shift would depend on your drive. Commute, back roads, open road blast, maybe conservative MPG, or feeling frisky and just want to hear exhaust pops and gurgling under decel. There is no black and white answer. Just enjoy...
I have a set of composite race ramps. Got it up high enough to install them. Still less hassle then lining up pinchweld pads every time you want to jack car up . Bigger reason is for whatever reason you may need to bring car anywhere for service, repair, tires, you have piece of mind that some...
Yes, just make sure pinchwelds are bottomed into pad. I dabbed RTV over ends of set screws where they contact pinchweld after anti-seized threads of set screws. They won't go anywhere. I've driven off with magnetic pads and they stayed let alone screwed on pads.
Friend of mine's son-in-law has a BMW and has spent thousands of dollars on carbon fiber parts for his car and the parts started the turn a milky white whether it was not or had poor clear coating. But it looks horrible now and it wasn't like he bought cheap eBay stuff. Makes me want to just get...
I'm usually within a pound. My gauges show tenths, if I check sensors with my TPMS tool also shows tenths. System must round up or down to nearest pound for dash display.
I'm not a fan of rubber/all weather mats. They just seem cheap looking. I usually upgrade with Lloyd's deep pile mats but of course they don't have the coverage. I've softened my opinion after getting my 5 with Cadillac floor and trunk mats. They are extremely Heavy and do not slip, slide, or...
I wish I had your problem 🤤 With age comes the wisdom to err on side of precaution. Wife's usually hop in back seat and bags, jewelry or shoes tapping, scraping or contacting seat backs in anyway, 😱 I've had to buff scuffing off top of my saddlebags on numerous occasions and had to wet sand and...
How many quarts does the 4 take? My 5 takes 9, mobil cases come in 6 packs, so I have 3 extras for next change. I'm just about 3k miles did my own at 1500 and will monitor oil life for dealer freebie.
I have two older Valentine One's. I unfortunately can no longer update and must cough up to purchase newer version. Even updating older ones cost about $100 less than just new purchase. 2 units with 2-3 updates got pricey. I've learned to live without but I haven't really done many long...
