    Blackwing Constraints Tracker

Yep... tell me about it! I'm in the fortunate spot of being on the inside at a dealer group (someone at our Cadillac store sends me updates) AND on the outside as having an order personally, and I can tell you we're all in the same boat as being unsure as to when our cars will be built. Big...

    No more tan?

Update on this! I talked to Rob about it and started a pinned thread called "Blackwing Constraints Tracker", which I'll try to update every Thursday. I can't give out all the info in the reports, but at least can list what's on constraint for ordering any given week, so any sensitive info like...

    Blackwing Constraints Tracker

The percentage basically represents the portion of all CT4 or CT5 allocations (including non V-series) that are available for ordering that week. So 0% means that 0 allocations were given that week for the entire country, 5% would represent a maximum of 5% of the total allocations for that...

    Blackwing Constraints Tracker

Since constraints seem to be the hot topic as of late, I figured it'd be easier to track in one place, versus having to read through multiple threads across the site to get the same info. I'll try to update this post weekly on Thursdays when the information is available. **See latest replies...

    No more tan?

It’s labeled as a dealer confidential doc, so no unfortunately. I’m not exactly sure why, but it probably has to do with GM being a publicly traded company, as it contains future production data? Just a guess.

    No more tan?

Every week on Thursdays, GM releases a list of models/trims/options that are considered constraints, usually for a week-long target production period sometime in the following month. For example, if graphite wheels are on 20% constraint, that means that only 20% of the given national allocation...

Heated Steering Wheels No Longer Available on V-Series Cadillac After November 22

Thanks Rob! I also have GM system access and read the full release this morning. Just to clarify, because I saw this come up over in the Blackwing area, the heated/ventilated seat issue mentioned above does not affect CT4 or CT5, it's only the heated steering wheels that are affected.

Heated Steering Wheel Availability on V-Series Cadillac

I have GM system access and read the full release this morning, which was shortened when posted here. The heated/ventilated seat issue does not affect CT4 or CT5, so no worries for us.

    Media dumps

I'm split between Cammisa and Throttle House for being the best car reviewers on YouTube. This was a fantastic watch.

2022 and 2023 Blackwing Production Dates and Distribution Updates

Not necessarily. Take this with a grain of salt, but there was a Blackwing test drive event at the Monterey GP in September. They had 4 of each BW model there for test drives by the general public, and I drove both! While waiting in line, I asked one of the higher up Cadillac reps--who wasn't...

2022 and 2023 Blackwing Production Dates and Distribution Updates

Given that I just placed my order at the end of October, and I'm third in line (all 1100 status) at my small-volume dealer, I'm taking note of May 5th. If I don't get an allocation by then I'll assume my order has to switch over to a 2023 MY!

Delivery Thread - Post Pictures Here!

LOVE this... in fact I just switched my color because of your pictures. Wasn't too sure how electric blue would look without the carbon packs, but it looks just as good. I have the same wheels, but ordered bronze calipers and black mirror caps, and went with the natural tan interior.

    Nick from Gilroy, CA

Hey Everyone! I'm Nick from Gilroy, CA. I just joined the site after discovering the Blackwing order tracker. I just placed an order for a CT4-V BW last week (spec below) and I'm a previous ATS-V owner! I also work for the dealership group that I ordered my Vs from, so I'm hoping to be able...
