I went with the 25. But only because I wanted the Precision Package and the update PDR. If you do not care about those things then a lightly used 24 is a better value. Plus you get a volume knob and blind spot detection.
I have a pump nearby that dispenses non-ethanol 92. A little more than the usual stuff but I use it if the car is going to sit for a while (like in the winter)
If you watch Matt’s video or listen to his podcast when he reviewed the Precision Package, then it is no surprise his article for R&T would be glowing. He loved the car when he tested it.
I ordered a set. I have a long road trip home and it is a good idea to lock out the ability to get into the trunk (which will have all my luggage). I will report back once I get them installed and tested.
Easiest way to find your car in the inventory is to do the Build & Buy. Configure the same specs as the one you ordered. When you get to the summary screen, it should show up in the inventory list as an ‘Exact Match’. And show it is assigned to your dealer. Note you may need to change the zip...
For the 2025 models (back in 2024), the BW prod started a few months later (I think around Oct). But that does not mean that is what will happen this time.

You can check the order status via the chat bot on the Cadillac website if you have the order number. But if Dustin has not called and said he assigned your order to an allocation then it has not gone anywhere. 2026 CT5 production starts June 1. With no year over year changes GM will keep making...
I do not know if the CT4 alignment process is the same as the CT5, but here is a good video for the CT5. If GM has published track alignment specs then there is a way to do it that does not involve drilling out the top of the strut tower. Find another dealer.
CT5 Blackwing alignment
I have only been looking at the 5BW as that is what I was researching. I checked and CT4-V colors are the same except for Mercury Silver Metallic being available on the CT4 in 2024. I have updated the chart with that color and it is now complete for both CT4-V and CT5-V (including BW).
"In 2025, a motorized carriage will be unable to see what is to the left nor to the right unlike those that cometh before and after."
I guess it's true when they say that only in hindsight do Nostradamus' predictions make any sense.
I started considering the 5BW in 2024. So my only knowledge of prior year colors came from reading posts on this forum. I was surprised to see two different frost colors. I never see any discussions about them. Probably because they cost 6x a regulator metallic color.
The other surprise was...
These are the V-Series (including BW) paint colors for 2022-26. The only difference between CT4-V and CT5-V is CT4 had an additional color choice in 2024 (Mercury Silver Metallic) . Only Summit White and Black Raven have been available for the entire run. Let me know if anything is wrong and...
