I placed an order for a CT5 with Sewell in Grapevine in October, never got passed 1100.

I kind of hope this is true vs letting us place the order have it sit all year

Makes sense, but I would imagine the supplier would be locked in to a contract that should prevent something like that from happening.

My guess.. all of us that have been holding out for CF will end up dropping it just to get an allocation, and pay the 23 prices for something we could have had cheaper and sooner.. fml.

I asked my dealer to submit a 2023 for me, but she believes it's not possible until mid June. Goat gif here.

With the price increases on the 23' this doesn't look quite so bad..

Does that mean any 2022 currently at 1100 won't be built? If that's the case, I need to call my dealer and start working on that 23 build...

I think some of the vehicles he "reviews" are actually for sale.. so it's more of an advertisement than a review. In the latest one he said that car was 105k, but that's way over msrp.

Did they mention a price increase or any other differences? Either way, I would have done the same - even though I wouldn't believe the "guaranteed" portion of it lol.. I'm sure your original would have likely moved to a 2023 anyway.

@1StunnaV I've got an order for a 5 in at Grapevine, but thinking of getting a 4 in the mean time. I don't know if you're in finance or not, but do you have any idea what the rates are like right now? Really need something ASAP. Do you guys have any 4s on the lot, or any lot you know of lol?

I believe it, think about it.. if they sell it to someone on the list, thats one less BW they sell. The built one will be bought by a new customer off the street in no time.

I'm sort of in the same boat, getting close to really needing another car. I'll likely grab whatever will hold its value best until the BW is delivered and trade it in or sell it. Thinking of just using the money I saved for down payment to pay cash and minimize any losses in interest. Maybe...
