Was here trying to think of something besides MPG (which is actually impressive if you can manage to stay out of the loud pedal... i.e. great road trip car), but you're right the turning radius sucks. Presumably the wide tires and suspension geometry required to accomodate them are the culprit.
DSM or White. I've had so many white cars I wasn't keen on Summit, but after seeing it with CF1/2 and the bronze wheels I was sold. Cleans up well and with a good detail/ceramic there's good gloss to be had.
I was exclusively looking for a lightlly used '24 I wanted the CF1/CF2 and bronze wheels, Carbon seats were definitly a bonus but would've been ok with the performance seats (no base seats though). Don't want or need the sunroof and the CCB was only a nice to have. Drivers assistance is nice...
There's not a huge aftermarket for these cars but thankfully (IMO) these are nearly perfect from factory. I'm considering mods to allow a little more supercharger noise into the cabin (maybe a lid). May entertain an exhause once I see what AWE has in store for us. Other than that just budget for...
I went with a '24 to avoid the first year depreciation, I like the front end better and the factory warranty is plenty even with a year off the clock. While the interior update to get the nicer screen would've been cool I just use CarPlay 99.9% of the time and it works great on the '24. That...
I'm guessing the leather on the thigh bolsters have some slack built into them to support the way the thigh is adjust (going up and down, filling the area vs. the kidney bolsters that "fold" in/out). Mine looks similar to the pics shared previously.
Yep, no problem getting under there and maneuvering a drip pan, wrench, etc.
Could add some jack under there too just for redundancy. For the cost I wouldn’t hesitate to buy these again. Though if I had other projects besides just regular maintenance I’d probably invest in the race ramps line...
My guess would be that there's a lot more room in the price range of the 5 to develop the package. I think the 4 likely hit a ceiling where it would be cross-shopped with the base 5 and M3, etc. In other words, the 5 has a lot more room to option up bc it'll be compared to the likes of the M5/E63.
I didn't see this posted before so thought I'd share. I bought a set of of ramps from Discount ramps on Friday and they were delivered to me today in TX (fast shipping!). I threw them down in the garage and tested with my CT5 BW. No issues whatsover, clears the CF splitter without issue and they...
I actually bought it like that. Unfortunately it came down past the AS1 line so it's not legal here in Texas. I removed it yesterday. Lord knows I need one less reason to get pulled over. I would say that it definitely helped when driving into the sun (i.e. when you'd normally put the visors...
