No ADM for me. Also no custom VIN. I figured the car is limited enough.
So basically paying for the 120 badging for what it costs to get ceramics and upgraded seats from the mid grade ones to the carbon backed ones.
I’m just wondering if it’s a good idea to cheap out on the 120 or just eat it...
Anniversary edition order is showing 2000. Concierge contacted my dealer today asking to see if I wanted the custom year VIN (which I declined). Concierge said that decision had to me made by next Wednesday. Do you think that means that for the 120 cars we basically have until the end of next...
Are any of you monocle rocking, ascot flopping, fancy pantaloon strutting, clean underwear wearing, important people innit?
Did you go full blown spec including the $7000 personalized year VIN or just a regular spec?
Asking for a friend.
Of all the selling platforms the one I've had the best luck with is eBay. You get a few tire kickers and time wasters, and a lot of dealers low balling you to get your car, but it's always been worth it for me in the end. I think I've sold three or four cars there overall, one just this week...
Workbench will currently accept 2023 orders but everything will sit at 1100 until dealers start getting allocation, pricing, and constraint information.
I don't know what your dealer is talking about. My understanding is that dealers that are getting 120 anniversary cars have been notified...
I was surprised to see that their cars weren't equipped with a tow hook
Does anyone know if the previous gen hook will work on ours?

You're fine. They don't lose the allocation just because you back out, it isn't tied to your name. Just tell them your circumstances have changed and can't go through with it. They'd rather know sooner than later.
Thanks for the explanation.
I'm still struggling with the Esky's price point and searching for ways to rationalize it, so far unsuccessfully.
The fanciness is nice but if I'm paying that price I'm more interested in the dynamics ... there's a big part of me that's considering buying a Tahoe...
Looks great but $150k before options is a lot, certainly a lot more than I expected. I get that it’s the price range of a GLS 63 but I’m reconsidering my purchase of one. My faster Durango Hellcat started at around $85k. The esky is bigger and more refined, but not $65k better Than a DH.
It’s not a matter of value retention.
There currently are several equal or better automatic sedans in the marketplace than a 5BW.
There currently is no other sedan being produced like the 5BW manual.
At the end of the day buy what moves you, and the auto is faster in every way, so get that if...
