    Data Video Card

I should state that if your car shows an icon that says "Navigation" and looks like a compass arrow pointing north on the home infotainment screen, you should have a Nav SD card already. If it says "No SD Card Present" when you touch that icon, then they owe you a card. If you do NOT have an...

    Data Video Card

You can buy the SD Card from GMNAVDISC.com On sale right now, ($99) but only the 2022 version. I don't see 2023 available yet. CT5 Nav Update

What did you do to your Blackwing today?

Seat entry and exit can be turned on/off in your settings menu. Usually you touch Settings, then Vehicle at the top left of your screen, then scroll until you see Seating or Seating Position I think. You want to have Seat Entry and Seat Exit memory turned on (green). For exit, place the...

What did you do to your Blackwing today?

I have a lot of guests where that isn't the case for whatever reason, and they have different passwords. Everyone with different passwords for their OnStar and MyCadillac app, tries the OnStar password first and they get nowhere. When they use the MyCadillac app password...bingo. How and why...

What did you do to your Blackwing today?

It's actually asking for your MyCadillac App password which may be different from your OnStar password. The MyCadillac one is the one you want. I deal with this a lot at my dealership. If you forgot the password, just get on the app and follow the "Forgot Password" procedure. This only ever...

    CT4 4BW Test drive impressions

Just drove the CT4 BW in question. The clutch is LIGHT compared to the 5BW clutch for sure. The shifting felt the same as my 5BW though. It was an interesting contrast to my 5, but the shifting experience was the same. You can't half heartedly row through the gears, these cars want you to demand...

    Jacking up your Blackwing

I wholeheartedly agree. This was really a trial run while I figure out a more effective process.

    CT4 4BW Test drive impressions

I might drive it and see how it feels compared to mine. Also on mine, the clutch pedal needs to be fully depressed or it won't shift/hesitates as well. For a while I was just backing off the engagement point and that was giving me inconsistent results so now I make sure I fully disengage.

    CT4 4BW Test drive impressions

Others have mentioned that the Tremec unit is hesitant to shift from 1st to 2nd when cold. Mine exhibits this as well, but it doesn't seem to last long. I have had instances where the gearshift seemed inconsistent, but only when I was shifting too slowly or hesitating with my shifting motion...

    Jacking up your Blackwing

I did a 1,500 mile oil change yesterday. Left the filter on (mostly because Amazon sent the wrong one), but I wound up lifting from the rear jacking points to get the front on stands. Not what I prefer, but it worked. I'll likely figure something else out in the future. CT5 BW on jackstands

    Jacking up your Blackwing

Unfortunately that block shown in the post doesn't exist on the 5BW. I looked under a number of 5's at the dealership (Lux, Sport, V) and they all have the front-center lifting point, BUT the 5BW has an aluminum(?) plate covering that entire area so there is no exposed lifting point. One of the...

    Jacking up your Blackwing

I've read this whole thread and haven't found what I'm looking for. Has anyone used a jack to lift the entire front of a 5BW? Is there a front-center jacking point? I plan to change my oil this weekend and need a place to put my jack/jackstands. There are so many underbody plates and covers...

    Spring Mountain Impressions

For all those who have confirmed dates, how long did it take for someone to call from Spring Mountain and settle everything up? I haven't been called yet, but they told me they would hold my date and call later to wrap everything up.

    Spring Mountain Impressions

I got the email but the attached link wouldn't let me make a reservation. Now all my preferred dates are closed. They didn't call me about it, and I emailed them immediately when I had the issue. I called today and left a voicemail, and in response they sent me an email asking me to look at...

    The Midnight Steel Metallic Thread

I do. I'm not in sales however. I am the Product Specialist and teach Sales Associates about the vehicles and the competition. I also troubleshoot and teach technology to our customers so they can use their vehicle to the fullest.

    The Midnight Steel Metallic Thread

I think that Midnight Steel hides imperfections and swirls much easier than Wave based on my experience. I don't know if the GM clearcoat is considered soft or not, but my Wave CT5 BW was ran through the wash (after I said not to) and I could really see the swirls and marks. I clayed and...

Post your AutoX pictures and videos here

I had an Abarth prior to this one and sold it for the 'Vette. I missed it too much and sold the 'Vette for another Abarth. I'm always happy when driving that thing. My neighbors likely have a different opinion, especially now that my garage is filled with the sounds of Abarth and CT5 BW cold...

Wheel weight on a CT5 BW?

As an aside, the satin black wheels on the CT5 Blackwing are forged in case anyone is wondering. I assume the polished versions are too since they share the design. I can't speak for any of the other wheels, but I assume they are as well. They are manufactured by Super Alloy Industries in...
