Yeah I agree it’s a lot. I already went once with ATS-V auto and wanted to get the full experience of what I have a home, knowing that I won’t be as good with added shifting duties.
I’m close to my 1 year in December. How can I wait if my time expires? I heard they can get an extension or something through GM. Anybody now anything about that?
Finally found a spot Oct 23-24. Booked airline, car and hotel. Then I get a call that they only have automatics for my date. I really wanted to experience the manual on the track as I live in IA so get little to no opportunity to open it up without jail time. I know I’ll be faster and easier to...
🍿 for the 🤡 watching...
Finally, some entertainment in this forum. Been too busy enjoying my 5BW manual. It's really a great car but it makes me sad every day since a Credit Union "owns it." But then I look at my cash making me money and I feel a lot better.
Just my 2 cents but with the right tools this is much easier than you’re all making it to appear. The only hard thing is to reach the last nut as everyone has said. Keep things neat and clean. Get a magnet if you drop the nut in. Otherwise mine just fell out into the trunk eventually just driving.
Same here. More importantly, have they created an update to keep Rev-Match setting on? This is seriously my biggest gripe with the car. Can someone create a tune or something for that? I know it's a simple button push, but it's annoying to have to remember to do it every time I start the car.
Put my stock tires back on. I got the car December 29th so have only been able to drive it on winter wheels/tires which were put on after PDR. Really excited to feel what the car is supposed to be like. I do have to say the winters did impress me. Picture shows the difference in thread and width...
After reading this whole thread and struggling to find a shop that was available, I decided to just go ahead and DIY it in my garage. Like every other car I’ve worked on I used a hydraulic jack and a screw one for extra safety. All lifting was done on the pinch welds. Changed my tires back to...
My dyno is indicating about 17 SoMP Horsepower increase since I put it on. Also the car feels more aerodynamic. Another unexpected benefit that I’m sure the engineers thought of was this really dialed in the front to back weight ratio. Who could’ve thought a few ounces would have such an impact...
Winter tires and drive year-round in Iowa. Fortunately for me in the metro area they do a pretty good job cleaning up and I can also work from some, so I didn't have to drive in much snow at all. I can't stand driving a boring car and can't justify two cars for the miles I drive.
Can we tell where we are in the order list for delivery? I signed up early and paid just curious if you can share some of that info so we know what to expect.
Yeah I'm fine with that. The one that's odd to me is when my hand is even off the shifter. It just seems it looks at engine speed and other variables but not the fact that is in neutral without intention to get into gear. Maybe I'm doing something wrong but seems like a quirk or software bug to me.
My only unwanted rev-match happens when I’m slowing down, breaking and/or coasting in neutral. Really weird. Seems like a really easy fixable bug in software. Same with the ability to leave rev match on. I really like the rev match feature for every day driving.
