I picked up my 2024 4BW about 6 weeks ago. When I took delivery, I noticed that the AC was not working. The dealer found the system was slightly low on charge and topped it off. The AC has worked perfectly since then - until today.
My wife and I were out running errands this afternoon...
Remember that gearboxes have a break-in period just like everything else in the chassis and driveline. A little bit of notchiness, or an overly strong return spring when new doesn't necessarily indicate a problem. If you notice something like this, I recommend you wait until you have 1000-ish...
My 4V BW is the second vehicle I've owned with a TR-6060 gearbox. I also owned a 2015 Chevy SS with the M6. Both vehicles were bought new.
The gearbox in my SS was very good but could be notchy in second and third after a cold start when new. This got much better over time but I would still...
That's really good! I've got about 850 miles on my stick car, and I'm in the high teens overall. I did a 250 mile round trip on State Routes two weeks ago (max speed 65-70 mph). Even with varying the RPM frequently, I got almost 24 mph on that trip.
1 month update. I now have 850 miles on the car. Some observations:

2) This...
Radiant Red on a sunny day vs. overcast. "Radiant" is an apt description of how the paint pops in the sun. The purple tint in the full sun side picture is the reflection of the blue sky on a red car, lol.
I picked up the car on Wednesday. The AC was just slightly low on charge. They topped it off and checked for leaks but found none. My drive home was 3 1/2 hours on a sunny 80 degree day. The AC worked flawlessly, and the car is absolutely fantastic. Can't wait to get through the break-in...
Very entertaining video. I loved some of the comments:
"Buick -- Died three weeks ago and still coasting to a stop"
"Chrysler 200 - is that your credit score?"
Hilarious!
I've been a forum member for several months but just bought my '24 4BW last Saturday (2/10/24).
I am a recently retired Engineer. I spent the majority of my career (35+ years) as an automotive suspension/chassis product development Engineer specializing in shock absorber development, including...
I only listed the really fun stuff, I've owned many more cars than that. The rest of the list is below (in model year order):
1974 Pontiac Bonneville (First car - bought from Grandparents)
1980 Chevy Monte Carlo (Used; 229 Chevy V6 -- shook like a paint mixer and couldn't peel the skin off a...
