That M3 is so freaking good in terms of performance for the money. If only I could get it with a different front end, there'd be no 4BW order in right now for me. I've never been a huge BMW person but I love the new M3's level of performance. The Comp xDrive is just insane.

Awesome idea! I was able to see, sit in, start up, and rev a 4BW at my local dealer and that really helped me pull the trigger. I was having a hard time before that. Hope you get someone to help ease your mind!!

Yea, pretty insane. I mean, is there a reason to do this outside of a quick cash grab? You have to pay capital gains tax and stuff right? Do people do this to get money to put down on another car? Or just do this on every new car to boost that investment portfolio? Lol. It's just confusing to me.

I sort of agree. Deserve is a strong word. Obviously if you're willing to wait indefinitely, you might get what you ordered. But Cadillac are under no obligations here. You could wait for 5 years and they'd be none the worse for wear. But imagine the damage to your psyche if you wait that long...
