Pardon my ignorance.. The ECM isn't directly measuring torque, its calculating it from inlet airflow, pressure, temperature, fuel flow, EGT, O2, etc. Can you intercept those signals to make the computer think its producing less torque than it is, or does that screw up other things downstream...

Random question, are the 4BWs up-level seatbacks thinner than the base? Wondering if that might give an extra inch of legroom to the back seat passengers. They kind of look like it in the configurator, but hard to tell.

Mines almost the same. MT, 4 doors requirement. More than 4 cylinders Not FWD But I’ll still try a WRX, civic R, and a golf R, because it’s basically m3 vs ct4 otherwise. I would have bought an m340i in a heartbeat if it had a stick!

The cg photos have a much warmer and diffuse lighting effect compared to last year. Like they were trying to simulate sunset, maybe. Hard to judge what the color will look like with some glossy reflections.

I think you’ll be surprised. C/d already ranks the 4 and 5 as 10/10s. They are going up against the manual version of the m3, which is down on power and supposedly has a rubbery shifter. I’m sure the m3 will be ranked with the better interior, but that’s cause it has a better interior.

I pulled the CG images of the 4 Infrared and the new Escalade in Radiant into powerpoint and did the ole eye dropper on a couple locations. The change is so subtle I cant tell a difference.
