Rob, Mirza, and the product development engineers involved no doubt deserve praise. The c-suite of Cadillac as well as GM however, need to know that their supply chain managers, production, and distribution is absolutely not acceptable.
The pipe is just as backed up coming out of the factory as going in. I have a 4BW like many others here that was built over a month ago now just sitting in a frozen shipping distribution yard. I‘m in metro Detroit and it’s amazing to see the thousands upon thousands of newly built vehicles...
Inspect your tire sidewalls immediately upon delivery when our cars finally show up. (before taking ownership ideally) Last night the temps dipped below 20 degrees at the rail yard. Michelin warnings are clear that if our cars are moved at all before warming to at least 40 degrees for 24...
Agreed! Let the owner buy summer or track tires if they want. We are buying expensive cars made a in snowy, cold state with tires that can literally break if you move them  Anyhow, thinking about buying a boat next year, hope the manufacture doesn’t warn me to not get it wet
I was told by my dealer service department and also a former GM technician who now works as an electronic modules engineer at GM to keep a staggered fitment. The smaller diameter front sized tire installed in rear can cause car to erroneously “see” wheel slippage and then start trying to a...
Thanks Mirza, your help is appreciated. If anyone has their 4BW already and have looked at the inside of their wheels (satin graphite preferably) for offset specs please let us know.
@Mirza Grebovic, regarding 4BW wheel specs, it appears the optional “RRR” tech bronze wheels or maybe the proposed Mg option match the ATS-V 28mm front offset and 48mm rear offset specs based on the attached dealer parts department photo. The R38 standard wheels and the R37 optional satin...
Apex confirmed some of their readily available 18” wheels will clear our Brembo calipers. Still need to know the factory CT4-V BW offsets front and rear.
We need confirmation of factory wheels offset (ET..). If front and rear factory are in fact both ET32, then an Apex wheel at 31 would poke out 1mm further. In the proposed 18x9 square set-up, the rear would simply be 1/2” narrower 1/4“ on the inboard side and 1/4” outboard. I will contact...
I was actually looking at Apex wheels as they have some 18x9 ET31 that I think would work perfectly for my 4BW that is supposed to be built next week. They are reasonably priced and my intention would be to run a square set up with 255s all around rather than staggered for Michigan winters...
I’ve seen conflicting specs for CT4-V BW factory wheels. On another forum someone posted 18x9 5x120 ET32 fronts and 18x9.5 5x120 ET32 rears. Therefore not the same offset as ATS-V. Anyone looked at the stampings on back of factory wheels Or perhaps have successfully bought and fit a winter set?
