Someone else is already flipping their 5:

I've seen it in review videos and it looks like its about the same size.
I had alcantara on my old rs3 wheel on about half of it, and I never had issues with cleanliness. Just remember that it's basically fabric, so if you get stuff on it, you'll wanna clean it up and it's slightly more hassle...
I'll throw my numbers out, in case anyone is curious, and it gives me an excuse to celebrate that I saw some movement:
1/04/22 Ordered
1/13/22 Allocated with TPW of 2/07/22
3/08/22 Built (so a month after my original TPW)
3/09/22 Bayed, per the Jack Cooper tracker. It spent the next six weeks...
I was curious about the same thing, as mine will have two car seats (or depending on how long it takes, two booster seats) in the back. Recently I came across this youtube reviewer who showed what it looks like with two in there:
FWIW I went with Bronze on Bronze with Electric Blue. I'm an old Subaru guy, so blue and bronze spoke to me. You're not alone, there's dozens of us! (maybe, lol)
If the 4 had come out six months before the 5, we wouldn't hear about the V8 as much. The fact that most people review them at the same time really led to that comparison. I'm not sure one twin turbo 6 cylinder would have gotten a different response than the one that's in there.
Every reviewer...
There are those of us who specifically picked a 4 over a 5. For me, cost was a factor - I'd rather have a 4 and a Miata than just a 5 - but even if it wasn't, there's reasons for either one. I will say, I do agree the 5 sounds better.
I personally think they're both fantastic cars that just...
Negative, I got my allocation here in Oklahoma through sheer luck. There's a more involved story that consists of dealership shenanigans, but I got an allocation and here's hoping soon I'll have a car.
Good luck on your end!
I tend to agree with what's been posted here. PPF is basically "prevent paint chips" while also making it a bit easier to clean. Ceramic is "make it shiny and hydrophobic for a long time". Ceramic in a lot of ways is basically long lasting wax.
I currently own a car that's 100% PPF'ed (bought...
Eh, why not. Mine's a manual 4. I got electric blue over sky grey with red belts, tech package and climate package, with bronze wheels and bronze calipers. No carbon.
I've been sitting at a TPW of 2/07/22 for probably six weeks now. There were originally six of us scheduled for that week. Four of them got built, two of us are still sitting. Short answer is nobody knows, and it sucks lol
