Question, am I the only one who.....???

REALLY?!!? Wow, to me you can really tell the difference between Tour, Sport and Track. The thing about stiff suspension is it not only transfers road feel to the seat of your pants, on rough pavement it also transfers the shocks and vibrations to the chassis which over time eventually turns...

Question, am I the only one who.....???

Drives in MyMode with the suspension fairly stiff but shifts back and forth from it to Tour mode just before crossing train tracks or rough patches of road....

I'm saying because I have crushed more than on supra during trips to Mexico and it wasn't close, but then we were launching 55... so... I think he's in the wrong PTM mode, maybe he's in wet or dry, it's hard not to get wheel spin and chirp on the shifts in sport or above.

The power in the 5 is hilariously fun, but to me it still feels like a boat in the any corners. That feeling only gets worse when driven back to back with the 4. The 4 could use another 30hp and be perfect, the 5 simply can't hide the extra wheel base. That's not criticism, rather just the...

Ha, I suppose that's great if straight lines are all you have. All I know is the even with more power and higher gearing, the M3 doesn't throw you back in the seat with the calm authority of the BW, and they will tell you better than I, yes your .2 quicker from a dig but the BW blows by them...

I know a lot of people who cross shop the C8 vs BW, because I was one, in the end ERGOS were the issue, I'm just too tall to get along with the C8 and pass tech on track. Yes its impressive.

I fully expected the M3 to demonstrably have more power, but I thought the gap would have been greater, as BMW's typically have 20 or so hp more than advertised. What I was NOT expecting seeing them side by side was to be struck with just how much better looking the Caddie is compared to the...

That's exactly it though, the challenge of a road course, is maintaining corner speed. 95% of us over brake for corners compare to what the bike... I mean.... ur... ah.... CAR can actually turn in and hold. This is a good thing as it's a function of our survival instinct. Once we start to get...

Throttle house looking for a CT4 V blackwing in toronto

Well having owned a hot V German contraption before this, I can tell you the design philosophy is not to make it as good as possible it's to make it as advanced/complicated as possible. In many ways, the German auto has simply become an exercise in building the results of intellectual...

Throttle house looking for a CT4 V blackwing in toronto

Yep I saw it to, the fact is the Ct4 BW really isn't getting much head-to-head comparison testing against anything. Of the line the RS3 can be slightly quicker but gets obliterated in a roll at any speed. Against the manual M3/4 vs M6 BW from inside the two cars the BW just handles and feels...

    2023 Brake Upgrades?

I'd rather live with the dust and keep the stopping power. Mines is a daily driver, so I don't get upset about a little dirt on the wheels if the rest of the car is fairly clean.

For the sake of resale value I hope this is a mistake

The automatics are without a doubt the quickest cars. The automatics are without question the more advanced optioned cars with auo brake assist, adaptive cruise control ect... Those two elements might suggest it is the most desirable from a functional perspective but these are niche...

The C8 seemed quicker through the AutoX but it's really mostly driver Tammie was in a CT4BW and simply walked off from our groups lone CT5 during lapping. @Throat Yogurt that explains a lot...
