I have not done this before, but reading reviews, the product does what it is meant to do. I would mask around the piping and put down a few coats of spray paint like Dupli-Color HVP-100 (if vinyl). Leather specific spray paint is available on Etsy, but I am sure elsewhere as well.
Nothing...
I would like to paint my 4BW (black leather seat) white piping red, but would like to confirm whether the piping is leather or vinyl so I can use appropriate spray paint. Does anyone know for certain? I am not sure I can tell just by looking at it under magnification.
I think the dealer is going to tell you to remove the exhaust before they work on it. And you already know that the issue is most likely exhaust related, so I don't see how the dealer is going to resolve it. They will be happy a few hundred dollars from you to tell you to remove the aftermarket...
I drove and autocrossed the 2nd gen MR2 turbo for probably 6 or so years in the 90s. It was a great car that was fast enough, but the handling was wicked. It understeered until it didn't and then the back would come around. When driving in the snow conditions, just lifting off the gas in a...
You will be fine with a street alignment. You "might" be autocrossing for fun, not for prizes. That 0.05 seconds you will be missing is not going to make any difference.
My appologies to Roadhawk for missreading the post.
Spoofing the ECU can work to extract more power, but probably isn't the best idea of long term reliable operation. But that's a different discussion.
Sorry, but if you think you gained 90hp from a throttle body without turning, you must be new to mods. With tuning, pretty much 100% of any gains, will come from the tuning and not from the throttle body.
You missunderstood something. Tapout doesn't claim 90hp gain from that throttle body. That would be radicultous. They claim 10-15hp. Its been long understood in the ATS-V community that these throttle bodies don't see any gains. In regards to gains without tunning, that is a pipe dream. There...
My 5k mile just bought example looked just like this when I pulled the dip stick out. Oil has never beer changed and the dip stick probably never pulled out. Kinda scarred me as well.
Wanted to resurect this thread as this question hasn't been discussed but is relevant: What is the clearance with these Apex wheels between the front caliper and the wheel ID/drum? The set I was using on the ATSV without an issue allows only 1mm of clearance, which could be ok, but not ideal.
Curious about the same. I saw a car with a sticker that included black badges but it had regular chrome ones. I dont think I've actually seen a picture of a car with black badges.
