    CT4 Door Panel Installation Help

I got it. I put the clips and the weather seal on first, aligned them with trim grooves, put the trim on and pushed in. This is opposite of the service manual instructions, which I would not get to work.

    CT4 Door Panel Installation Help

I needed to replace an interior door panel on my CT4BW and for the life of me, I can't figure out how to put the rear door panel back in. The top weather strip is in the way and wouldn't seat properly no matter what I do. There has got to be a trick to this. Any tips would be MUCH appreciated...

    Gas Grade

You guys do know that people seek out ethanol because it makes a ton more power because it effectively bumps up your octane and resists detonation? People run full E85 in these cars and as long as its not in the winter and they don't let it sit it generally is ok. There are a few quirks and I...

    Gas Grade

Why would you want to do that? 91 is the minimum specified. Sure it will run it, but may be rewarding timing to keep knock under control.

[Now Available] AWE SwitchPath™ Exhaust for the Cadillac CT4-V Blackwing

The tips grew on me as well. A bit too much but I can live with it. It sounds good. No obnoxious rasp. Yes, a bit on the quite side but I doubt you can make it louder without the rasp. That engine just doesn't sound good unmuffled. Do you get the CEL on the valves?

    CT5-V Tan Interior

The 4 goes a bit overboard with the color in the seats. I like the more toned down looks of the 5 seats better.

    What did you trade?

Same here. But parts availability was starting to become a problem.

    Apex Wheels for CT4-V Blackwing

Don't need a ring if the OD of the spacer step (whatever that is called) matches the ID of the wheel center bore.

[Now Available] AWE SwitchPath™ Exhaust for the Cadillac CT4-V Blackwing

Is the loud path routed through a muffler or a straight pipe? Not a fan of straight pipe sound on this engine.

The tips are silly. Should have done stock or similar. If round, definitely not sticking out the way they do.

CT5-V Missing Volume knob on MY25+

This time around it is not an economic stumble but a permanent (as far as my lifetime is concerned) loss of confidence in the US and the dollar as the reserve currency from the rest of world. Don't expect a rebound to where we were 4 months ago. That next dip could be the next ceiling.

    CT4-V Brake Vibration

This appears to be the problem based on my observations over the past 8 years starting with the atsv. Cars that are driven lightly build up material on the rotors and start to feel like they are warped. The dealer then turns them and the problem goes away for a few months. Then it's back and the...

CT5-V HORRIBLE experience with Bayway Cadillac SW

These aren't the cars you want to make a matter of principle stand on. There are a lot of determined buyers. There is no leverage.

    Apex Wheels for CT4-V Blackwing

The day after I put them on, one tire started loosing air. Today, I pulled this out of a nearly new tire. It was too close to the sidewall, so I had to plug it. Anyone know what this is? How does that get kicked upright to puncture a tire? We had a bunch of roof/siding replacements in the...

    CT5-V 5BW new tire time - discussion

Generally, I don't think you could do better than 4s TCP. Given that the car was designed for it, is a no brainer. For street driving, just stay it. I will.

    Apex Wheels for CT4-V Blackwing

I guess they sell them as a set now. I believe this is it: https://www.ebay.com/itm/124915062430?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=s9jBz3hJRxq&sssrc=4429486&ssuid=8pF1Bhg1SGe&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY

    Apex Wheels for CT4-V Blackwing

Full thread engagement. They do what is advertised. Probably not as strong as full lug nilut thickness but it's not as important on that part of the nut.

    Apex Wheels for CT4-V Blackwing

Cant remember, Summit I think. Don't believe they were sold as a set 5 years ago when I got them. They were much more expensive than the standard ones of the same size. I hope they are now available as a set at amazon.

    Apex Wheels for CT4-V Blackwing

Finally put the SM-10 on the car. 18x9 ET30 front with a 5 mm spacer. Extended thread lug nuts. No spacer is needed to fit. 18x9.5 ET35 rear My atsv with the same rear offset had a lot more poke. To much in fact. Much better on the bw as it can swallow wider wheels/tires.
