As promised, here is a summary on how to lift your 4BW safely using pinch weld adapters and a floor jack.
While this is the best method I have found so far, this is a living thread where any improvements or suggestions are always welcome. The only thing that I ask is that this particular...
I have not had a chance to bring it in yet, but I only feel it about once/twice per drive cycle when the car is warming up. Usually if I try to recreate it intentionally, it still only happens on occasion. Best bet to reproduce it is to short shift it at like 4-5k RPM on the gas and it will...
sorry for the delay fellas work really caught up to me this week
This will be posted later today, I took all the pictures last night and it took me some time to figure out how to present my findings, but I think a PDF is be the best way (will be printable)
Wanted to relay the message for AWE:
They need to see some more 4BW owners who are interested before they can justify a project -- to quote the rep I spoke with "The car is on our radar, should the demand present itself, we could decide to do it. That would be down the road a bit though"
if...
The gentleman you are looking for is Cory Smetzler @ Apex Support -- email is support@apexwheels.com
Extremely knowledgeable and very quick to respond -- here is the setup I went with
I am interested to say the least. The feedback looks and sounds awesome.
Do you have any more details on the part # and installation procedure? specifically - Are they a direct plug and play swap?
4BW -- I tested 3 brands/types of pinch weld adapters, 2 sizes of rubber jack pads, and my old trusty hockey puck sandwich last week. I think that I finally found what works best for lifting these one corner at a time. It's not a perfect science, but it works for my wheel swapping/detailing...
Ceramic coated and mounted my APEX wheels. Used gtechniq CSL and am impressed with the results so far. Went on the usual Sunday cruise down to Pier Village with the squad. Ate wayyyyy too many cheeseburgers. It was an absolute blast.
Paint correction, reflector tinting, and ceramic coating...
if the Corsa system does not happen, I am willing to bring my car over to AWE in eastern PA (if they are interested). I have been calling and writing shops all over since I took delivery of this car and refuse to give up LOL
Corsa just sent me this today 4-04-2024. in my opinion, their ATS-V system probably sounded the best of the bolt on options so this would be ideal

I am still experiencing the occasional shift flare/thump from 3rd to 4th. (flare on partial throttle, thump when getting on it but not 100%)
My game plan is to have the dealer look everything over and swap the transmission fluid for the warm season
Does anyone know the recommended interval...
have to ask--
what lug nuts do you run with your VS-5RS wheels??
this was the only thing holding me back from making the swap to my summer set last weekend (but mine are brushed clear)
the savage cadillac wing for 300 does not mount to anything structural -- it sits on top of the decklid with 3M tape
tapout's wing is identical to OEM, including mounting points and structural function
also, the savage cadillac CF wing does not fit over the non-CF OEM 4BW wing -- it must be...
pilot sport 4 all seasons are notably quieter at highway speed from my experience
What tire pressure range were you running on the summers when you noticed the excessive road noise?
just noticed the smart driver feature was enabled for myself -- and I NEVER opted in.
When this was first posted, I specifically checked that it was not enabled (which it was not). Now all of a sudden, it is. My LexisNexis was squuuueaky clean a couple weeks back when this was first posted...
