OEM for now- might explore Apex wheels in the future since they look so damn sexy on some of these posts
At the time, I was very hesitant to change anything to to aftermarket since I was monitoring a mechanical failure with my dealership, who made it very clear they only wanted factory...
I went with the PS A/S 4s on my winter set for my 4BW as well as my CTS coupe and I think that they are exactly what you are looking for. NJ roads around here (Monmouth cty) get severely chewed up from the constant salt brining, and I find the A/S compound to be a tad more forgiving over...
My accessories dept had the part #s for those wheel caps in both red and blue when I was ordering another set of wheels -- gold coast cadillac -- oakhurst, nj but any local authorized parts dept should be able of doing the same
I am looking forward to what comes of this meeting. Whatever they build for you, I probably want one too-- so long as it doesn't rob any power.
I see this as a huge opportunity to our aftermarket if BB can make it happen.
I sent an email in to Paragon Performance a month or two ago to see if they would compare the rear of their C8 CF replacement paddles with a factory paddle from their CT5V BW. They look identical to me, so I have some hope they might end up being a simple bolt-on for us.
Paragon said that...
It looks like both the 4 and the 5 have been cracked per Tapout's online store. I always figured the C8 crowd would crack this thing first, but I'm still glad too see that things are finally getting spicy for Global B customers
Mine hovers around the same 12-14psi range under full load. Sometimes more, sometimes less. Only a few times have I glanced down and seen 15psi or greater, but I was in track mode when observing those higher readings for a split second. The car also burbles and snaps way harder in track/sport...
I have roughly 9000 miles on the clock since last September as my DD in New Jersey and absolutely love it so far.
The seats are comfortable enough to spend 2-3 hours in without too much drama from my back, and the chassis puts the power down like a champ upon request. It's the best of both...
Slightly besides the topic of your post, but I did notice those cool looking CF paddle shifter extensions you have installed. Are they worth a shot? Curious as to who makes them and if the adhesive will become a messy slimy goo in the summer months
I am between guinea pigging it for the...
Bummer dude. I had a new engine put in mine after a few thousand miles and it has not had any impact on resale. Document everything religiously, and you should be a-okay in the long run. Just make sure to test it extensively after break in is completed if you plan to keep it forever. At least...
Here's my little buddy Morgan! Getting his fur out of the cabin is a real treat but weekend trips up north are way easier with two extra doors. Please disregard the embarrassing condition of my lawn--this was during the drought last summer.
I would love to do the same mod and was shocked to learn that you can open the windows from the FOB, but not fold in the mirrors electronically. I swapped to CF mirror caps so it would probably look pretty cool with them all folded up but I am not doing it manually hahaha
What does your oil pressure reading look like under a light load at 40-45 mph? Just cruising you should be at around the 40-50psi range, but with a heavier load that number will be much higher (like 70-80psi plus).
From my understanding, these engines like a lot of oil pressure, but if you...
It was me who ordered the cheaper one to test the fitment-- You are absolutely correct about the fitment.
The cheaper Chinese ones are designed to slip directly over the non-blackwing decklid spoiler just like a phone case slips over a cell phone (adhered around edges with 3m double sided...
After about 50 miles of driving I can confirm the car feels solid and runs great. Can't wait to finish the break-in period and really give it the beans to test it out. Now it just needs a good detail and we are back in action.
