My car is at the dealer getting the spoiler installed, first oil change (1600mi) and rear diff fluid changed. I also asked them to check out the spark plug in cylinder 6 haha. I should get it back by tomorrow.
So I tested this again on the rear this time. There's no chance the plastic will crack since the gap between the lift pad edge and the car floor is greater than the thickness of the rocker plastic.

Just a heads up for anyone who is getting the spoiler installed by the dealership, they will need your car for close to a full day to properly cure the rust inhibitor after drilling into the trunk.
