We have a Highlander with ventilated seats. It must get the air from the AC ducts going to the back seats (car has three zone AC) - the air coming from the front seats is COLD - probably 40 degrees if I had to guess. After a few minutes we turn it off or to the lowest setting possible as it's...
My 5 is in the goat pen (built, but no idea when I will see it) so here are some non-Blackwing pics (OP wasn't specific...)
Philly, a long time ago:
The rest are California speedway, also along time ago.
Saved this from a spin:
Left front wheel is almost off the ground:
Looks like I just...
Pretty much what I expected. I'm spoiled - when I last did track days some coworkers would rent the whole track (full Buttonwillow and Streets of Willow for sure; think I probably ran big Willow and Ca speedway roadcourse with them too, but those might have been a different group) - apparently...

I'm not sure how the TPC varies from the regular 4S, but based on the table below, the Falken should lap a track faster, but the 4S destroys it in wear / longevity (which you'd expect from a factory tire) and also wet traction...
When the Falken 615s came out they owned the street tire (non racing slick) class in autocross for several years. Other manufacturers finally matched them, but the 660s are currently very competitive in autocross where maximum grip (not heat resistance) is paramount.
Grassrootsmotorsports does...
Looks like new wheels
I don't suppose these are the Magnesium ones. Wonder if those will ever come....
Side by side:
Looks like bumper and headlights (and maybe grill) are the only changes. I'm guessing fenders and hood are unchanged.
Also wonder if the carbon fiber font end parts will...
I don't have a blackwing yet, but my 56" ramps fit under my S2000 - I can't even get a low profile Harbor Freight aluminum racing jack under it without driving up on 2x4s first. Dimensions are on their website so you can measure before you buy, but I have to imagine the 56" would work and are...
I believe tan seats are the ones with carbon fiber backs and supposedly those are on constraint, so if Pasadena did get an allocation they wouldn't be able to pick up your order and it would go to someone else or they would order an auto trans and sun roof for dealer stock.
I have an order with...
I agree - market seems to be softening. I've only been looking for a Blackwing for a month, but availability has changed dramatically in that time. 4s have been readily available the last month (even listed new below MSRP), but 5 availability, which was very limited, has seemingly exploded.
A...
The car would not be a daily driver. I drive across country a couple times per year, and this car might make it into that rotation, but it would primarily be a weekend car. I don't mind firm seats, it's primarily lumbar support I need. (I ruptured a disk in my back 18 months ago and could not...
Yes, I may have been unclear, but I understood your intent. I looked through the Cadillac configurator, and they definitely look like the same seats. There are three 4-Vs with those seats near me on Cadillac's website, but all are "not available" currently. But expanding the search to 4s will...
I am in LA's South Bay.
Interesting on the 4-V blackwing seat. My local dealer has one in their showroom (with an automatic of course), which I sat in. It doesn't have the diamond quilting, but it might be the same seat otherwise - I'll investigate.
I read somewhere (probably on this forum...
If you are a CT5-V Blackwing owner with high-performance front bucket seats (aka mid level, $2890 seats) and are going to a cars and coffee, car show, autocross, etc in the LA / OC area, would you be willing to let me look at (or ideally sit in) your seats?
I am about to put a deposit down for...
