Rock Hit, Undercarriage Damage, What Would you Do?

Ive hit several animals that did signifcant damage, a deer at 60 MPH dead center, and a raccoon (I think) at 110. Both times it was a no fault claim with my insurance. The deer I could understand, but it was amazing how much damage the racoon did. Both times in previous vehicles.

    Jb4 Cabin Cable install Questions

Got the OBD2 data link to the JB4 run through the firewall shown above, took my considerably longer than his 10min however. There was plenty of wire to run to where I have the JB4 mounted in front of the airbox. Even to do so by running the wire along the existing wire harnesses and tying it...

    Jb4 Cabin Cable install Questions

Going to add this here as another possible location to mount the JB4 out of the way. Found the cables are long enough, if routed just right, to allow the JB4 to be mounted under the plastic valance panel in front of the airbox, its a perfect fit and is completely out of the way, unseen, unless...

    CT4V dragy 60-130 times

Stock other than Green air filters. Stock down pipes, 3/4 tank of 91 oct pump. This is my baseline for stock to compare against. Will test on the same road with similar conditions with the JB4 and T-Body later. Not bad for high desert (of north Mexico).

    4BW - How many miles?

@Akamai58, I had seen the Service Instrument Cluster message a few times, but never saw a fault. I have the HUD, next time I see that Ill have to check the HUD, some times when I wear my polarized Ray-Ban's they filter out the HUD, so I may not notice it. 6K on mine this week too, 3K/month.

    4VBW Oil Consumption

Its hard to see 1/4 qt change. You would have to check it with the car in the exact same spot (same level), same temp, same amount of time since the last run. The engin can be fully expected to burn a bit extra oil for the first break in miles. As long as your not a full qt low, don't worry...

    4BW - How many miles?

Still running the PS4S's, was concerned about driving in cold weather, gets down to the high teens and low 20's here in the morning. The car is garaged so it leaves with the tires relevantly warm, as long as they keep rolling I believe Ill be okay (for normal driving). Not had any issue with...

    Subwoofer Install

Just need a bit more power and control, something like this may be worth a look; https://www.audiocontrol.com/car-audio/power-amplifiers/d-61200/ Maybe a replacement upgraded sub to match the amp. I bet the door speakers would sound very well given a bit more control over the sound.

    V academy

Part of my commute to/from work includes a 20 mile section of 2 lane canyon road. I get lucky now and then and have clear road ahead of me in the twisty parts. I love the paddle shifter and use it everyday on this section of road. Hence I have become very comfortable with it. I cant compare...

considering CT4-BW as a daily? a few questions

Mine is a daily driver, could borrow the wifes car if needed. A bit of snow and Ice at my home this morning, so elected to work from home. Still running the PS 4S's, dont want to risk it with questionable roads, but I have the luxury of working from home on bad weather days. It does snow, but...
