    In a dilemma… Help.

Nice, I like it, especially the spoiler! Now to find someone in Toronto who can do it at least half as well as your guy!

Would appreciate it hugely if you could post some pics of that as I’ve considered doing the same.

Order bank open date 2025 CT5V BW?

My guess it’s a new for ‘25 thing. I think from 22-24 you only got matching colour belts in the rear centre if you ordered the natural tan seats, at least in the CT5, though if someone has experienced otherwise please correct me.

Multi-topic thread on retirement and second car

This has nothing to do with shit and it is also really boring so please stop already or take it somewhere else.

    Make Blackwing Great Again

I would be glad to celebrate the spirit of this thread by sharing my best shots of ‘24:

    Media dumps

Lately I’m more likely to pass on Raiti’s videos than watch them - I find him more than a tad annoying and not terribly insightful - so I’m a little surprised that I wouldn’t zonk any of his yearend choices:

Deal killer for getting ct5-v blackwing…winter set up?

If you don’t mind, I’m going to briefly applaud my own forever car, a 32 year-old MR2, with these shots taken a few winters ago while visiting our in-laws in Quebec: Where, by the way, winter rubber is actually a matter of law, December to March. Full disclosure: I never leave it so brutally...

Even worse: those terrible CUE haptic slider buttons, or whatever the hell they were supposed to be. Still, would prefer that to nothing - or to be precise, nothing besides the steering wheel buttons.

    In a dilemma… Help.

I own a manual. It’s my second one, in fact. A ‘24, having owned a ‘22 before that. And before that I owned an auto V Wagon. But what the heck does what I drive have to do with this anyway? The OP wants to know the pros and cons of ‘24s versus ‘25s. And my point, for him, is that the dummies at...

Sure, but what about your front seat passenger? “I’ll be fine but here, put on this hair shirt before we go on a journey in my $100k luxury sports sedan.”

    In a dilemma… Help.

To get back on topic, unless there is an easily accessible volume control function available on the new touchscreen itself, the lack of a physical volume knob alone would be a dealbreaker for me if I was currently choosing between a pre- and post-refresh CT5 BW: Order bank open date 2025 CT5V...

    In a dilemma… Help.

… and as for the infotainment screen, I like the 25 a little more but frankly both the 24 and 25 will be considered equally archaic down the road. Here’s “cutting edge” GM 1980s, for example. Ultimately it’s the drivetrain and chassis that will qualify this car as a classic. Genesis does better...

Newer doesn’t mean better. Glad I have a ‘24, but I suppose in the end it’s a matter of taste.

    In a dilemma… Help.

Agree 100%. Having owned a 22 with the base seats, though, I should add that they are nearly as comfortable. Not quite, but nearly, and with the same heating, cooling, and massage features. Also, while there is no comparison in the looks department, the CF backed seats in my 24 did come at a...

Absolute Dearth of All-Season Tires for CT5-V Blackwing

While I put winter tires on my Blackwing (as I have lectured all of you rather tirelessly, sorry), I should add that I do it mainly so I can drive it safely on cold, dry winter days, which are the norm in Toronto most days, most winters. For example, last night when I had to pick a car to drive...

Absolute Dearth of All-Season Tires for CT5-V Blackwing

If you go easy on the throttle the kind of car you are driving is irrelevant to the traction of the tire. Completely, totally, utterly irrelevant. Sounds like the Pirelli’s just weren’t very good winter tires. In fact I think that’s what you’re saying. Possibly, but less likely, your Camaro also...
