Sorry for not being clear. It’s my right heel that sometimes gets stuck. Clutch foot is fine. We have Tuxmat in our Tesla M3 and been happy. Wears well too
I did PPF/ceramic a week after I picked it up. I drove about 500 miles back home. First time and I'm glad I did. Got a good deal because I took up a last minute cancellation slot. The ceramic code has a lifetime warranty as long as I bring it in yearly for a checkup. I took it in for a 2...
I have Tuxmat on my 2025 4BW MT. I'm happy w/ it. My only slight complaint is with the heel 'stickiness'. Probably more due to my driving style but I find that w/ certain shoes, I gotta lift my heel. I also have their trunk mat.
In all my other vehicles I run Weathertech but I didn't want...
Just picked it up after PPF and ceramic. Definitely pops now. And of COURSE, by the time I got home and left it in the driveway for a bit, damn trees dropped sap. W/ the cleaner, came off easily, unlike having to deal w/ my wife's Tesla and that dang soft paint.
This is the only 'good' picture I have during Friday's pickup. No new pix as it's in the shop for PPF/ceramic. I was debating over the last few days and I got quote from one of the shops that was recommended highly by several friends who are also car guys. I was hoping they'd give me some...
That is crazy. Even way cheaper cars have figured this out, it's not that hard. At this point, I would've preferred some USB ports in that spot and I'll just use a cable.
I'm just at 500. How critical is the diff fluid change at 1500? I figured I'd take it in for the early oil change just below 1500, maybe I do that then? All seems good right now, though I have not checked actual oil levels but no alerts from diagnostics/screen so far.
On Monday, I started looking with earnest for a BW. Yesterday, I flew down to SoCal to pick up my 2025 CT4V (MT BW, Argent, sunroof, satin wheels) and drove it back to NorCal to cap off a long day. I thought I'd share some of my experience, musing and possible questions.
1) I picked this up...
Isn't riding the clutch bad? I tested releasing the clutch and not hitting the gas in traffic and got the slow roll. But since I was a kid, it was always hammered into me not to ride the clutch. Am I missing something?
I did. Less than what they posted on the website. I shot my shot and the manager called my bluff. No way I could get that pricing in Norcal. They wouldn't even bother to call me back and when I went in-person, they blew me off. Up here, they won't budge from their markup.
