Frankly I wouldn't have been worried on whether or not I would get a 2025 if it wasn't for all this potential tariffs stuff. I could see cadillac saying the CT4 BW is not worth producing if they're going to have to significant tariff fees on a lot of the components.
I've seen some dealers sell the unit they have an allocation for, but to my knowledge none have been built yet. Did you see a real photo or just virtual pic?
I was offered the CT5 Le Monstre allocation from a dealer back in (I think) october, but its way out of my price range. I also believe...
Seems unlikely I will have to wait for a 2026. Cadillac still has to produce the petit pataud edition which they haven't yet. Special edition for 2025 (coming late 2025 according to Cadillac website).
But I might not see a car until June which would be disappointing. Hoping to see one...
I'm number 1 for my dealer and is the best blackwing dealer for WA, but I was told a couple weeks ago Cadillac isn't building any CT4s right now but will be soon. I saw your post and checked my status before I asked you thinking you were a CT5; my order status is still at 1100. My dealer is...
interesting. Looks like Conti rears have a load rating of SL, I wonder if that is the reason. I don't know enough about the load needs of the car and tires to have an opinion of if that SL vs XL load is a big deal or not.
XL 99 is 1709 lb at 42psi (michelin)
SL 95 is 1521 lb at 36psi...
Not super close to you, but Brotherton Cadillac in Renton WA is a great dealer. They do a ton of Blackwings and key people at that dealer have been involved/owned Vs and blackwings. I have nothing but good to say about them and my experience, Alex (sales guy) and Oscar (Sales Manager) are a...
It is very good to hear from a manual owner that has them. I've seen tuxmats on friends vehicles and I'm very impressed with the brand. I've used weathertech for many years, but have always been left disappointed with them as they age and the walls curl in and let lots of junk get to the...
Is your car an auto or a manual? Tuxmat told me "is not recommended to be used with Manual Transmission Vehicles because of the clearance issues with the clutch pedal. Some customers feel that this is not an issue, while other's feel uncomfortable with the range." and I would like to find...
I think getting discounts depends on the dealer and area you're in. Right now in Q4 of 2024 is an EXCELLENT time to get a deal on a new car. The auto industry is hurting and it is a buyers market. I can tell you if you're in the Seattle area, Brotherton Cadillac is a great dealer to work with...
a few weeks ago I saw a video about CT5 BW being driven at a racetrack, probably VIR. They were discussing how there was a performance package that changes bushing and I believe lower control arms (assuming camber and maybe toe in change); also remember them saying you get both so you can set...
Replacing the whole transmission might be done to reduce service department complexity, but a big reason is GM doesn't know what other damage or alignment issues might be there with an internal part that needs replacing. The only safe way for GM to know the repair will not have other issues is...
Do you have any pics showing the OEM vs Velossa to see the size difference? From your video I don't really see it changing anything performance wise.
I do like the red tips on your black BW. looks good.
From the video of stock vs corsa, the valves closed sound better on stock. But valves open the Corsa sounds good. I also think their black tips w/carbon is really amazing looking. I'm not a huge fan of the stock square exhaust tips, I prefer the large round quad tip look.
