After sitting in a CT4 BW I quickly realized a couple things
- No Sunroof was a must have and having one was a deal breaker. It eats up too much head room and I'm only 5'10". This is especially important if you're going to have people in the back seat like I will, kids.
- High performance...
That tucks in a lot more than I expected from reading your comments before looking at the pictures. I looks really good, I like the black tips.
The only critique I would give is the outside tips sit lower that the inner tips which looks misaligned. I think there a rotation to the outer that...
I really like AWE build quality and the sound of this system. I will probably get one in the future, but I might try to get some Corsa carbon w/ stainless tips to put on instead because they look amazing.
Maybe @Sara/AWE will come out with a similar style in the future. Exhaust tips are...
Mechanical Engineer, medical device design but my specialty is with invasive devices (surgical). I also used to design aftermarket offroad car parts on the side when I had more time and only had 1 kid.
On Cadillacs website the Blackwing and regular CT5-V are discussed on the same page since they are both CT5Vs. They do not have separate webpages for info on them. And AI sees it’s the website for Blackwing but can distinguish that the 20in wheel option is only for CT5V and not the CT5V BW...
I've spent a lot of time hunting for a CT4 BW, if you want an Auto there are a lot out there. Wheels could easily be swapped, but interior and sunroof options are obviously not easy to deal with.
If you want a manual you better not be picky, there are so few.
From what I've seen most...
you're looking at an AI overview, not the actual website.
the CT5-V has a 20in option, but the Blackwing only has 19in option from factory
Edit
Went to the website to find where the AI was erroneously grabbing info. Here you go.
Most cars you can reprogram the diameter. But you'll find that a minor size change isn't needed (like if you went from a 305 to 315 width on a 30 profile tire). If you go larger wheel, then you reduce your aspect ratio to have the sidewalls of the tire reduce in line with the wheel increase...
Check out CarEdge. They have a lot of youtube videos and have some stuff on their website that you don't have to pay for. Lots of good info on car buying. I personally find their shtick annoying, but there is very good info to be learned from them.
In general you should agree about an OTD...
That is super helpful. I need to read thru your thread, but this does make me want to consider doing the work.
For the rear spoiler I know that currently GM wants around $4000 and Tapout $1400ish. My dealer would give me a decent price but doubt that would get me down to $1400. It was one...
I'm not sure what you mean by upgraded seats and carbon fiber... Are you talking about the CT5 blackwings? if so I have no knowledge of those, but I have been led to believe cadillac produces a lot more CT5 BWs than CT4 BWs.
my CT4 BW order has the high performance seats, but on the CT4 its...
What do you mean by upgrading to CF1? Like you got all the bumper reinforcements and everything or replaced your front bumper?
From what I understand there is a pretty big difference in front bumper rigidity for CF1 equipped CT4s.
Well today was my lucky day.
I had to change my order to remove the CF1 and CF2, but no other changes and in the end I think I’m getting a car better suited for my needs. I’m going to be daily driving my car so easier to clean the front bumper and better approach angles with speed bumps and...
