I didn't either - first time driving it was leaving the dealership to drive it home. Between youtube and here, I felt I had a pretty good idea of what I was getting into.
Pulled the trigger last night :).
I saw a new note on the website about a possible check engine light P1400 with the intake cover. I looked it up and it seems to have something to do with the catalytic converter and how quickly it gets to temp at initial start.
What conditions have...
Besides meeting up with johnnywaffles11 one time, I haven't seen another BW in the year since I've been looking in the Philly area. I don't drive that much (work from home), but still. I do like the exclusivity though.
I've seen some pictures of the intake cover posted on blackwing Facebook groups. Looks like the first batch of these have shipped, or at least some customers have started receiving?
I'm wondering if anyone here has gotten it yet and can post some real world initial impressions. Is there a...
Well I called Cadillac (well technically texted with them) and apparently I was not on the badge list. I did call before and gave them my VIN months ago when the original email came out. Don't know what happened, but I'm back on the list and have a case number now. Let's see how soon it...
Did you guys get an email confirming that you called? I called several months ago after I got the email from Cadillac, but didn't get anything confirmation.
I had a quote for $700 for the 4 windows and back glass for top of the line ceramic. Haven't pulled the trigger yet, and the quote was from August so might be more now. I'm in the Philadelphia area.

I know the feeling, I put mine away a few weeks ago even though we've had a few nice days. I don't want to deal with changing the tires and dealing with the salt so I just drive my Yukon or wife's car in the winter.
Pulling up an old thread, but anyone receive info yet on the parking sensor retrofit? I thought they were supposed to be starting in Q4 2022, but we're almost at the end of the year.
