I just want to chime in that I'm still getting the p1400 code every few drives and the p0171/p0174 every once and a while too (though much more rare). I don't think the ambient temperature has anything to do with the codes sadly. In any case, I'm still rocking the intake - it's not too bad to...
I can confirm GM makes OEM black badges (not painted, but black plastic) under part number 85104905 for the CT4 BW. I was thinking to get the 0fx2gv badges, but at $189 for them verses $200 shipped for factory badges, I went with GM. Cadillac's accessory website lists them at $250, but you can...
Not me either - tomorrow morning is the annual cleanup at our church. Since I'm the president of the board, I kinda have to go, though I'd rather go to the meet!
Got the parking sensor retrofit completed today along with PA inspection/emission testing. Took about 1.5 hours at the dealership, so not bad.
The rear automatic breaking scared me for a second when I got home and pulled into the garage. I normally park by backing in so it was quite a...
I unfortunately can't on the 22nd, already have a commitment that morning :(. But it is only the beginning of the season!
I might go to this one that evening as it's a mile from my house lol. My 13 year old wants to go see the cars.
Got the front CF parts installed today. Went pretty smoothly, and I agree with jonnywaffles11 about the white clips. I also gave up on trying to get the middle one back on.
Only thing I'm disappointed about is there is a 1 - 2 mm gap on the passenger side between the splitter and wheel...
Thanks! I bought the same screws/clips that dirkbg shared above last week so I should be good I hope 👍. We need to get a Philly meet sometime this spring!
The air deflectors I bought from gmpartsdirect.com. The parts were only $12, but then $18 to ship (cheapest I could find). Took about...
Got my carbon goodies in the mail for my CT4 to go a long with the carbon spoiler i put on a while ago. Going to try and get these on this weekend.
I went with the OEM front splitter, wheel deflectors, and picked up the extra under body aero.
@Johnnywaffles11 - what are these clips you were...
Finally got the CEL today after 2 weeks/170 miles. It was in the low 40s this morning when I first took the car out so I was somewhat expecting it/testing to see if it showed up based on other comments. It didn't show up at first, but after the 4th engine start later in the day (high temp...
Where did you get the screws and clips and how many are needed on each side?
I would take them (if no one else asks), but it'll be a few months before I order the wheel deflectors. I have to spread things out to keep my wife happy lol. CF splitter was ordered yesterday so I'll see how long...
I've driven my car about 50 miles (only 3 start/stop cycles) since putting in the air box lid and no CEL. Temp has been in the low - high 50's.
Just to add - be careful with the air box lid screws, they are $8-9 each(!) from GM. I dropped one and couldn't find it for the life of me...
I installed mine over the weekend and drove it for the first time today. It definitely feels quicker to me, even in the lower RPM range. I wasn't able to really get on it due to too much traffic on the road.
No CEL either, though it seems it takes a few on/off cycles to show up. Hopefully...
What outside temperatures are you guys getting the CEL in? Below freezing or in the 40s/50s/or warmer?
Like DesertRJ, if just an issue in the winter or very cold days, I can live with it as I have the tools to clear the code at home. Plus I don't drive my car in the winter anyway lol.
You...
I received the intake lid today and put the blackwing sticker on. Looks really good!
Hopefully I'll have some time to install tomorrow.
It will probably be a few more weeks before I drive the car to test it out though. Only driven it once since early December for about 20 miles. Almost...
