Well shit… I guess I better pick some up before I pick my baby up from from getting the Kavaca wrap. That gives me a few days. Everyone going with the Mobil 1 as directed by the manual or what?
Gawdam man… I’m so sorry you’re going through this. You must be ready to chew nails at this point.
I’ve never had good experiences with any car I owned that had turbos. Both my Merc Capri, and Eagle Talon had really frustrating issues.
Hope it all works out for you in the end my dude.
Good call. Bro, my dealership’s salesmen honestly aren’t well versed in the Blackwing. I knew more about it than them. I mean it’s not like I’ve been obsessed with the BW since 2021, checked every day for the last year to see if a car with my specific options was available, and read/watched...
Changing up the tire specs doesn’t throw shit off on the car’s computers? I don’t want to mess with anything that could give Caddy a reason to void the warranty.
That’s a pretty good rundown right there. I find Metallica’s black album to be pretty good as a tuning fork.
I’ve had aftermarket subs in every car I’ve ever owned, but don’t plan on putting anything in the BW. Granted, I only drove it for 40 minutes after taking it off the lot before dropping...
Why would I see you relating your personal experience as you being a jerk my brother? Yer good.
Maybe they’ve changed something up as almost all of the reviews I read about the Invo said they were great… though I doubt many of those folks are ripping 659 torque.
What really sucks is that there...
Driving home last night through SF after date night with the wifey… saw a matte black BW (couldn’t tell if it was a 4 or 5 cuz of the dark) semi-double parked in kind of the Tenderloin part of the city. Pretty sure dude was showin it to the homies. There was a crew kickin it there, and it damn...
Damn… this is something I have to look forward to? I’d hope that a new car wouldn’t burn through oil after the break in period unless running hard on a track.
Were those the Invos by chance? Figure I’ll only be able to run Summer tires for a few months out of the year which is why I wanted a tire that’s safe under 40F. September through April (some years through May too) I’ll need tires safe at cold temps.
Damn man! Somebody had their car jacked by the po!?!? That’s cold… imagine being pulled over by your old C8 in the bucket you were forced to buy cuz the car was seized!
I’m having my ct5 wrapped in Kavaca PPF Ceramic Pro and tint. Apparently it’s the best of both worlds. The research I did made it seem like this would work great for me as a daily driver on mountain roads and in the Bay Area. Just gotta make sure it’s applied by an “elite” shop. What I read is...
Whole heartedly agreed. I like in California, and I’d still rather have the window down with my arm on the sill than having the sunroof open and sun on my head.
If it were the real deal panoramic and it opened all the way up, shit yeah… that’s basically a convertible. I’ve had a convertible...
I ordered a set of Nitto Invo tires to use as all seasons. It gets cold where I spend half my time up in the Sierra Nevadas. I’ve woken up to snow on the ground in August even.
I’ve also been told that the Nitto NT555 is a great tire that grips like a mofo… but I’ve never used em personally.
pretty sure there’s one like that in Beverly Hills. But you may have to order it, which could then take a long time for you to actually see. I guess it depends on how patient you are. I’ve read horror stories of guys whose order was taken but not filled.
I had thought I wanted the sunroof...
The one I found is Typhoon Metallic with tan interior, parking package, bronze calipers, manual transmission with no sunroof. The only thing missing was the bronze wheels… so I’m having some made that come in next month.
I was able to find the exact one I would’ve built out (minus the wheels). It only took me about a year of scavenging. The dealership I bought from actually has two more coming in. The one I got was because the dude that ordered it wanted the sunroof package…. So he ordered a second one after...
