Believe me, I put TAN multiple times but just couldn't convince any of the kids to like it, specially the youngest one was totally against. Also, can't argue with her argument that since she will be sitting in the back, she gets to choose the color. ;shrug
No, I did not get the CT5-BW in Electric Blue because by the time Cadillac got their act together, I had moved on to Durango Hellcat and eventually to TRX. But I did own one of the first 250 CT4-BW in Electric Blue and CT5 had identical specs, other than bronze wheels and higher trim seats.
Thank you for the details. I just sent my build details to the dealer so it is going to be a while before I my get the car so hopefully it will be back in stock by then 😊
I was hoping that by now Cadillac would have gotten their act together and release the update the fix this issue. As I understand, we already have the hardware, it is just missing the software part, which other Cadillacs share as well.
Unfortunately, my 6 year daughter just totally vetoed the brown interior. According to her... "it is not our style and it looks disgusting" :) (whatever that means).
So looks like here is what I'm going with
- Coastal Blue
- Bronze Wheels
- Blue Calipers
- Cool Gray Semi-Aniline Seats (with CF...
I have owned two BWs with Cool Gray seats (mid level) and after checking out all the other options, I still think that they are the best. In the higher level, there is less white so it's a nice break from all black without being too much.
Found one with similar specs as I want. I'm kinda liking Bronze wheel combo with blue.

Local dealer reached out to me about sending him a build as they will be sending new orders to Cadillac soon. So now I'm in a dilemma as I'm torn between following combos. My first choice was Typhoon but after seeing Coastal Blue in person, I really like it as well. Also, it seems to be more...
Good to see another SS owner here. I owned two of them (2015 and 2017). With all badges changed to Holden, it turned heads everywhere. Not to mention the number of times I got asked "what car is this?" at the redlight. Loved owning it.
Met the Sales Manager of local dealer at Cadillac VClub meet and according to him there is no word on allocations yet and they don't even know how many they will get this year. They are okay to put in order but according to him, it would be at least 6-8 months before car can be expected.
I totally agree with you. Felt the same with Durango Hellcat, TRX and CT5-BW (the short time I owned it). I currently drive Integra Type-S. Definitely not as fast as last three vehicles but a lot of fun. Personally, I'm enjoying it more than I thought I did and I will go as far as saying that...
You had connections and still had bad experience 😞. That tells me a lot about the dealership.
Needless to say, they lost customers and I for sure am not going back to that dealership (even though the sales person was really nice and would love to give him more business)
No, I did not keep the car long enough to try to figure it out. But i figured it was caused by the key being in the drawer close to the garage. So the car randomly "saw" the key and woke up.
