Good stuff - I’ll introduce myself.
Married 38yrs old (for one more day atleast) with 3 kids ages 1-11. Originally from Texas but living in Tennessee now. Work as a Consultant for Health Care Systems nationally and do most of my work remotely. Been into cars since I was a kid and had all the...
I HATED track mode on my c8 - you felt EVERYTHING and the slightest crack or bump was a bone jarring experience. The BW Track Mode feels like sport in the C8 and for the most part the roads haven’t been bad. I road tripped it from TN to OH in touring though just for the unknowns. My daily...
Not sure if it's been mentioned, but it appears that Cadillac has added a V logo or a 20th anniversary logo to the drivers side of the front moulding on the hood/grille area for the 2024 5V Blackwing configurator.
I pull out of the garage in MyMode (full stealth) and immediately go to track and stay in track till the next morning. Train tracks, pot holes, speed bumps, it handles them all incredibly well
Have seen this done on other sites for previous generation V's, so figured I'd start one here for the 5th Gens now that we're starting to see some pretty crazy builds. In this post I will track power levels, track times, modifications, etc for both the 4VBW and the 5VBW. Will allow for...
Never sat in the Tier 3 seats, but at 6' 235lbs I daily the Tier 2 seats and have road tripped 1000 miles and can say they're extremely comfortable for a high performance car. You shouldn't have any issues dailying it for sure. That being said, the massage function is there but not really...
Anyone figured out how to get the car to start in the same mode you turned it off in? Mine keeps defaulting back to tour but I need it to stay in MyMode for when I leave at 5am and don’t wanna wake the baby
I own a 5BW with 2nd tier seats and am 6' 235lb and find the BW to be very comfortable. I would imagine the extra height would not prove to be an issue in a 5V with plenty of head room and ability to extend the seat for better leg support if so desired.
It's always interesting to me how car pricing changes based on the economy, supply chain, etc. There have been times where I was able to buy some really nice cars at Invoice + Doc Fee, and there have been times where I couldn't buy the most basic vehicle for anything but MSRP. I ended up...
I mean I plan on doing the Texas Mile and some Shift Sector events. More focused on not wanting it peeling off and flying away than anything else, lol.
So maybe a silly question, but if they’re meant to create 200lbs of downforce, are they able to hold 200lbs of weight on them without disconnecting from the front bumper/cracking?
I know you adapted the design of the front splitter from OEM, but was there any testing done to ensure it maintained the ability to provide the downforce generated by the OEM part?
