    Pops out of 1st gear

Having owned and driven numerous Tremec equipped cars on the street and track, I had never experienced the 1st gear popping out . . . until I got my 2024 5BW. It is really weird, has nothing to do with seating position, arm strength, careless driving, etc. It literally will just pop out of 1st...

break pedal can the height be lowered

If you are having heel and toe issues like I did, I highly recommend installing a SRP throttle pedal. https://www.cadillacvnet.com/forums/threads/5bw-6sp-heel-and-toe-issues.4556/#post-89349

5 BWer's in Black Raven: Exterior Carbon? Yes or No?

Forgot to mention that the black paint is notorious for having terrible quality and mine was one that came off the truck with scratches and scuffs. The dealership paid for my PPF guy to do a paint correction on the entire car and then he PPF'd the whole car so you can't notice any issues really.

5 BWer's in Black Raven: Exterior Carbon? Yes or No?

Black Raven 2024 5BW here. I spec'd mine with very few options and definitely no carbon. These are expensive cars and I didn't feel a need to add even more money to the price, especially for what are cosmetic upgrades (yes, I know they add downforce and will deduct a fraction of a second on a...

    Still want all-season tires

Yes the OE rear 305s being slightly shorter than the fronts makes my OCD flare up, too! With regard to all seasons, it looks like both the Michelin AS4 and the Continental DWS06 Plus are offered in 275/35/19 and 285/35/19. Those 285s will work fine on the 11" rear wheel and will be a fraction...

CT4 BW Bridgestone Potenza All Seasons?

OP I think you are overthinking this. Most tire brands don't recommend mixing tire models and as pointed out above, any all season is going to be a step down in terms of steering responsiveness compared to the special PS$S tires Cadillac has spec'd. However, on other cars I have used some all...

I didn't see this posted - nice comparison between OE and Corsa:

CT4-V Some thoughts after test driving an auto 4-v blackwing, and asking for some advice regarding manual vs auto

I am pretty sure the 4BW has hill hold assist like my 5BW 6sp. You will have no problem on hills. And manual. Manual. MANUAL! End of discussion. In all seriousness, the 4BW manual has better gearing than the tall 5BW gears. The Tremecs are such a pleasure to use in all situations. I...

Got it, thank you. I'm probably going to order the catback one day soon.

Who Wants the First Corsa CT5-V Blackwing Exhaust System?

Thank you. Corsa historically has offered their exhausts in 2 volume levels - Sport (loud) and Xtreme (REALLY LOUD). I would prefer Sport personally.

Awesome! Do we know if these are 3"? Also, are they available in Sport and Xtreme?

Who Wants the First Corsa CT5-V Blackwing Exhaust System?

I think those tips look awesome! Really looking forward to pricing and availability. I hope they make a Sport version because I'm not sure I want an Xtreme.

Can anyone tell by eye if my car looks stock height.

Might want to measure from the center cap to the top of the fender lip, post your measurements, and us nerds can measure our stock cars and see if they match.

Can anyone tell by eye if my car looks stock height.

A little hard to tell since those wheels appear to be 20s?

    SRP Pedal Installation

I installed the SRP throttle pedal only. Nothing to worry about since all of the wires are well above the pedal itself. Drill away!
