Whoa this is a very interesting development! The 5BW definitely has fake noise and there are other threads about how it is basically impossible to disable without essentially bricking your infotainment but I had never seen anyone discuss this sort of plug. I wonder if it would work.
Thank you for posting that link. What's not addressed in the formal complaint that I just glanced over was the fact that I and many others expressly opted OUT of the OnStar services when taking delvery of the vehicle only to see them mysteriously be turned ON weeks or months later.
It does...
Hey thank you, Sully. I was actually referring to post 1943 where he showed some pics that had the mufflers seemingly tucked up higher than I had seen from other installs.

I've done a ton of wheels with custom offsets over the years and have some PTSD from wheels that didn't fit as promised by the wheel manufacturers. Very well known brands. If flipray has found the secret sauce, I might pull the trigger. Those huge rear tires are essentially the same OD as the...
Are you able to share alignment specs? I saw you mentioned slight rub up front - do you think at stock ride height and with more camber that issue would go away?
I will say that the Car and Driver article has caused my G80 M3 and Giulia QF owning friends to be VERY defensive about their cars. It's comical how seriously they take negative comments about their cars, especially the BMW people.
The Mach 1s are definitely "better" but they are a lot more money and, from people I know who have owned them both, not as rowdy and fun as the Bosses. And you can swap the TR3160 into the Boss pretty easily (which is what I would do if I ever bought 3rd Boss).
Anyway, sorry for the thread hijack!
Have you considered a Boss 302? I've owned 2 and they are about the most engaging and rowdy cars you could ever imagine. Shockingly good handling if you put better tires and even better with some minor (cheap) suspension work. And that engine is incredible! Power everywhere, revs hard to...
Awesome. It looks like you were able to tuck the mufflers up higher than others I've seen. Can you please take more pictures from low behind the car? Like from maybe a 6 inches off the ground?
Have you considered 275/35/19 front and 285/35/19 rear? Would open up a lot of options, including the DWS06+ and AS4. 285 is acceptable on an 11" wheel per the specs.
