We have a '90 Land Cruiser that I got years ago for $2500 since it was full of rust. After fixing all of that, it looks pretty decent but is far from pristine (usually full of dog hair). Even though we have a ton of cool cars and bikes...I can't take that FJ62 anywhere without someone walking...
Just installed the ZL1Addons lift points on my 5BW yesterday and decided to trim the plastic a bit from the inside of the rocker panel trim and inset them. I initially installed them over the plastic but didn’t like how it slightly flexed the rocker. Trimming was very easy using a cutting bit on...
I wouldn’t have ordered the alcantara wheel/shifter, but I found my car available at a dealer and jumped on it. I’m super happy with the tactile feel and look, and from what I’ve heard maintenance is a non issue. I would definitely order it.
Installed a set of the ZL1Addons leave on jack pucks today. At first I was just going to put them on top of the plastic rocker trim, but decided I didn’t like the small amount of flex and broke out the dremmel tool so they would be inset. They’ll definitely make tire work easier.
Yeah, it's a pain in the butt but it'll pay off in the end. About 100 pictures (every angle imaginable), a walk around video, a cold start video, at least one good drive by video and a good driving video - that's pretty much expected there for a good show! Also, continual interaction in the...
It's the BAT exposure! The cars there always bring premium money. I've sold several cars/motorcycles there, and they've always brought more than I anticipated. If you decide to get serious about selling it someday, see if they'll post it as an auction.
That sounds great. I noticed the electric blue safety car, so that was good to see. I spent 4 years in Daytona while going to college and went to a lot of the races during those years - great times. Would love to bring our little RV back down and hit the races again!
They definitely don't...
I've had the Weathertech versions in a few cars, and they were ok, but I never used anything but water/scrubbing to clean them. I'm really hoping the material on these won't get too slick...fingers crossed. 🤞
We were just having the same discussion. An IMSA Blackwing car would be a lot of fun to watch, but I just don't think Cadillac has the commitment in them for it! It's just too far out of their wheelhouse. One of the engineers on the Blackwing said they really had to push to get the manual...
I have 2 good pressure gauges and another one on my air tank. My TPMS always seems always within 1lb of what I set. Pretty subtle ambient air temps can easily raise/lower pressure on any given day too.
I had 2 Valentine's which I recently sold on Ebay (they still bring decent money) and purchased an Escort Max 360c. Modern radar technology is amazing compared to just a few years ago. Between that and running Waze Nav, you'll have a pretty good indicator of who's where - I live in southern...
Thin carpet squares are what you see mostly in the aviation industry for floor protection, and they have some super expensive epoxy floors to take care of.
It’s strange. Seems to be really hit and miss. They had 3 BW’s on the floor and only 1 had it. I think it has something to do with production dates (earlier cars don’t have) but cars had probably sat longer than others at pre-shipping, and shipped later?
