I am sorry for your unfortunate experience. Your post emphasizes just how poor the customer service is in business today. A lot of businesses don't care about repeat customers. Also, this reminds me how unavailable these cars are which is a shame since these are wonderful cars.
The .89 is not bad for an SUV, but I like vehicles that can pull at least 1g. The freedom of choice of vehicles is wonderful. The Trackhawk is a beast and it would be a hoot to test drive and own one. You were fortunate to own one of those.
Even though the SVR has great acceleration, the reviews state that the lateral acceleration is only .89 on the skidpad which is OK but nothing like our Blackwings. How was the steering? Soft or hard? Is it adjustable?
If you need AWD, then perhaps a Subaru WRX STI. The last one I drove was a blast to drive. But why do you need AWD? Just put on some proper tires on any car. Michelin Cross Climate 2 works great in the snow and also in the wet. Dry handling is also very good.
Did you have at least 20,000 miles on them? I have had multiple Audis which have had recalls and other problems in the first 10,000 miles. Everything from replacing the moon roof to excessive oil consumption due to defective rings. BMWs are notorious for expensive repairs. Brakes on the BMWs...
None of these cars are reliable. You will spend thousands if not tens of thousands on repairs. I have owned all 3 of these manufacturers. Brakes are especially pricey.
This is the perfect reason to never visit California or move there. I don't want the government controlling what my car can do or can't do. I have had many instances in which I needed the power and increased speed to safely avoid an accident. With this new law, can you imagine trying to pass...
There was a study done in Great Britain that concluded that EVs actually produce more pollution to our air than an ICE car. Apparently the production of electricity is not that green. Of course it depends on the source of energy that produces the electricity.
Automatics are not worthless at all. There are millions of people who cannot drive a manual because of physical limitations. I am thankful we have the freedom to choose.
I want the extra space and a CT5-V would fit the bill better. I currently have a CT4-V Blackwing and I want something a bit larger. But can I live with the compromises of a V versus a Blackwing? Will the CT5-V be too benign for me? I am not interested in the CT5-V Blackwing. It is not worth...
I know that trying to get up my driveway in an ATS-V coming straight at the driveway did not work and if I hadn't stopped, I would have damaged my front end. When I approached the driveway at an angle, the car went up fine without hitting the concrete.
I don't have carbon fiber on my 2023 CT4-V Blackwing. Right between 5 and 5.5 inches on the front bumper. When you have a steep driveway, it is important to enter it at a 90 degree angle and then turn in. I have never scraped mine.
