Remember...CTS -> Catera touring sedan
I remember when I was building my 05 cts-v, I saw some plastic parts had "catera" molded into them with the part numbers.
So maybe CT5 -> Catera Touring 5. 😉
I'm not sure if this is relevant or if you want to add this info to the registry, but I just came across the engine/trans from the 2023 CT4-V BW #41-497 on ebay. (6,607 miles)
As well as a ton of parts from 2022 CT4V BW 41-1104. (8000 miles)
So it would seem those two cars are no longer with us.
Seems to be a non bw ct4 exhaust with aftermarket tips.
The tips look like these

My '04 GTO had surprisingly roomy back seats for a 2dr car. More room than my '98 Caddy STS.
In 2015 I had my mother get an ATS sedan and room/size was her main complaint, back seat and trunk. When it got totaled in a hit and run while parked, I then found her a '17 CTS. The ATS vs CTS size...
Good to hear it's fixed. My old '05 ctsv filled up the spare tire well with water because the sunroof drains got pulled into the trunk instead of going out through the rear wheel wells.
Yes, but an OBDII device that you just plug in, drive a few miles and get 60hp is complete BS. Especially when saying that if you just remove it and then start the car, its all back to stock.
Yea, I read that too about them, but figured they would be worth a shot if nothing else was an exact match. I was at a drag strip like 2 weeks ago and even the oem tires needed a good little burnout to achieve the best grip. I would only put the DRs on at the track, and then switch back to oem...
Interesting. I couldn't find an exact answer as to which mode to use. I ran like 95% of my runs in ptm-sport mode, mainly to use launch control. I didn't even think to check if it was available in sport/competitive mode. Definitely have to look into that, thanks for the info
Got to the track last Friday. Best pass was a 11.661 @ 123.32. First time back to the dragstrip in over 10 years. It was during a private track rental so I got 18 passes to try different launch methods, burnouts, etc. That was at Island Dragway in north NJ. My car was saying the outside temp on...
